Wednesday, March 28th
It’s hump day and the National Hockey League has presented us with a typical Wednesday night slate, featuring four games of action. The Washington Capitals, Vegas Golden Knights, Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche are tonight’s favorites, and the Philadelphia Flyers are the only team playing on consecutive nights.
GOALTENDER
NOTE: Make sure to check the RotoGrinders Starting Goalies Page page prior to game time, to confirm that the goalies listed below are starting.
Marc-Andre Fleury, Vegas Golden Knights – The Vegas Golden Knights are a huge favorite this evening, and the Arizona Coyotes have the lowest implied goal total on this four-game slate, which moves goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury to the top of my cash game goalie list. The Desert Dogs are much approved, but they still struggle to score goals (ranking 22nd overall in the National Hockey League in goals per game since the All-Star break), and I cannot see them doing much in the way of offensive damage tonight at the T-Mobile Arena. Fleury has been lights-out all season long for Vegas (2.12 GAA, .931 SV% and four shutouts), and I think we see another strong performance from him tonight on home ice.
