Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. I’ve been the first to admit the struggles of my PGA DFS plays since the restart, so it was nice to get a solid day of picks for round three. Justin Thomas (-4), Brooks Koepka (-2), Xander Schauffele (-3), Dustin Johnson (-2), Daniel Berger (-3), Jason Day (-1), and Joel Dahmen (-5) all came through with rounds under par. I’ll try to carry some of that momentum into the picks for the fourth round.

While finishing position points are awarded for final round showdown, it shouldn’t be our main focus when it comes to building lineups. If you can find the golfers way back that can make a run on Sunday, you will put your lineups in a tremendous spot. Ownership naturally gravitates toward all of the golfers at the top of the leaderboard. As for the leader Brendon Todd, I don’t have a strong take on him one way or the other. We’ve seen him in this situation three times this season — he’s won twice and collapsed the other time. His ball striking (36th) isn’t great, so he’ll need to keep a hot putter if he’s going to hold off the rest of the field.
