MLB PrizePicks Predictions Today

Andrew Abbott – Less Than 5.5 Pitcher Strikeouts

Although Abbott dominated in his last start against the Rockies with 8 strikeouts, he should have a tougher time against a Marlins team that is seeing a massive park upgrade. While that doesn’t affect strikeouts a ton, it could affect his leash, as the Marlins are likely to have eight right-handed batters in the lineup and could get to Abbott early. He only has a 19.1% strikeout rate to righties this season, and this pick has a 66.04% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, the highest on the slate.

Bryce Harper – More Than 8.5 Fantasy Points

While the Reds are my top stack of the day, the Philadelphia Phillies slot in right behind them. They have better than a 5.5 implied team total against Mitch Spence and the Athletics, who see a massive park downgrade leaving Oakland. Spence has given up a ridiculous 63.6% hard hit rate to left-handed batters so far this season, and Harper has the highest ISO on the team at .267 against righties. He projects for 11.4 fantasy points in the RotoGrinders projections and should be in line for a big game.

Elly De La Cruz – More Than 1.5 Total Bases (Demon)

This one makes absolutely no sense from PrizePicks. I went to confirm that he had a projection listed at 1.5 total bases so I could add him to the article, and I find that not only does that exist, but it also has an amplified payout structure and demon icon right beside the number. What a nice little bonus for us! He had a great day at the plate yesterday to come through for us, and today, he projects for 2 bases in the RotoGrinders projections, but I’m expecting even more.
