Three Severely Undervalued Players for Week 5
Ryan Mathews, Pierre Garcon, and Brent Celek – These are three severely undervalued players on all sites this week. Rostering them will get you under the cap while maintaining elite level upside for your team. For each player I listed his salary by site in order of how valuable I think he is on that site for week 5.
Ryan Mathews
Not a single salary cap site is giving Mathews any love this week. This matchup will showcase the young runner’s talents. Don’t worry about Tolbert stealing carries as there will be plenty of production to go around this week. I expect around 20 touches, 130 total yards, and at least one TD. FanDuel is the only site that I would consider not playing him this week. Players with comparable salaries include Beanie Wells, Jerome Harrison, and Jonathan Stewart.

So now Collie is out and Garcon is back on. Frustrating as this may be in your season long leagues, it’s potential gold in one-day leagues. Garcon has a very high ceiling for his salaries this week. Players with comparable salaries include Nate Washington and Nate Burleson.

Kolb’s favorite target regains fantasy studliness thanks to Mike Vick’s cartilage. Celek’s been the forgotten blocker this season, so it’s no surprise that he’s pretty cheap across the board. That may change after this week, so be sure to roster him now. Players with comparable salaries include Jermaine Gresham and Todd Heap.
