NHL Advanced Stats Legend
Advanced stats are an emerging topic among hockey minds, and in daily fantasy they can be useful in better understanding the key to winning, opportunity. Shown below are a number of metrics that look at how many opportunities a player is getting along with how well he capitalizes on those opportunities.
iFenwick – Individual Fenwick FOR (Shots + Missed Shots)
iCorsi – Individual Corsi For (Shots + missed shots + blocked shots)
FirstA – Primary Assist
IGP – %of goals scored by TEAM while player is on ice that HE SCORED
IAP – %of goals he assisted on while on the ice
IPP – %of points player accounted for WHILE ON THE ICE
Pts/60 – Points per 60 minutes
Miss% – Miss Percentage
Shot% – Shot Percentage
Shot/Gl – Shots per Goal
