DeMarco Murray ruled out Saturday

According to Cameron Wolfe, an ESPN reporter for the Titans, Titans running back DeMarco Murray will not play this Saturday vs the Patriots. During the last few weeks, Derrick Henry has dominated the touches in the Titans backfield. With 100 percent of running back touches, Henry ability to produce big plays helped the Titans secure a wild-card upset last weekend. The team will continue to use Henry vs the Patriots, but the combination of an elevated price tag and his lack of production in the passing game could make it very hard to roster Henry on DraftKings this weekend. Over the last two weeks, Henry has touched the ball 53 times producing 48.8 DK points.

DeMarco Murray ruled out Saturday

Just like last week, the Titans have ruled out Murray a few days prior to what is now the biggest game of the season. With Murray now officially out the team can focus on the task ahead and will once again feature Derrick Henry as a key offensive component. Henry should be inline for 25 to 30 touches in a winnable matchup vs a Chiefs defense that ranks dead last in rushing DVOA. From a DFS standpoint, let's hope that Henry does not need a busted screenplay to make value this week.

It looks like a repeat from last week, as the Titans are still holding out hope to get Murray back for wild card weekend showdown vs the Chiefs. Murray should be considered questionable at best for this week, and it looks like Derrick Henry could once again be the featured back for the Titans. Henry racked up 51 yards on 28 carries last week but was able to take a short screen pass to the house for a 66-yard score. For now, we are in a holding pattern in regards to the Titans plan for this week, but you would have to suspect that Murray will have a hard time getting back on the field.

DeMarco Murray ruled out Sunday

Derrick Henry will finally get to work as the Titans' feature back in a must-win game at home against the Jags Sunday. The timeshare has not been pretty this season, and at times Henry has appeared to be the most explosive back on the Titans team. For fantasy purposes, the combination of Henry getting all the work and the game script of needing a win to have a chance at the playoffs makes this a great spot to attack in Week 17. With nothing to play for, there is a chance that the Jaguars sit some players in this game, thus making it easier for Henry and the Titans to potentially score points on Sunday.
