Jorge Gutierrez will play tonight if Jeremy Lin is ruled out; Lin is currently doubtful
Lin is considered doubtful to play tonight against the Sixers. This is a good spot for the Hornets to ease up on Lin, who has been dealing with a sore back recently despite not missing any time. Steve Clifford has said that Jorge Gutierrez will play if Lin sits, but Gutierrez shouldn't see more than 10-15 minutes of court time unless this game gets out of hand really quickly. Kemba Walker has a very high ceiling in this spot, as does Nicolas Batum, but both also hold risk given the spread. It's a little surprising that the Hornets aren't bigger favorites (-11) given that Nerlens Noel, Jerami Grant and Richaun Holmes will all sit out.
