Lineup Update: Isaiah Thomas will start for Kent Bazemore (protocols) on Sunday. Thomas should be a bigger part of the equation with Bazemore now joining a slew of other Lakers on the inactive list. He's currently projecting as one of the better punt plays on the late slate and while he's not likely to offer a ton outside of raw points, he could see enough run to pay off his near-minimum price tag. Rajon Rondo also could play a little more and we'll likely see more Trevor Ariza than initially expected. The starters outside of DeAndre Jordan could see extended run here. LeBron's ceiling is immense in this spot.

As expected, Bazemore will get the start for the Warriors after missing five games due to the health and safety protocols. He should be in line to play heavy minutes, as the Warriors remain depleted with no Kelly Oubre, Damion Lee, and James Wiseman.

The Warriors will continue to be without two of their rotation players as they prepare to play the Dallas Mavericks. Lee will miss his fourth straight game due to the health and safety protocols, while Bazemore will miss his third for the same reasons. Mychal Mulder should continue to start, while Juan Toscano-Anderson and Jordan Poole get a few more minutes as a result of the Warriors' depleted depth.

The shorthanded Warriors will lose a key piece of their rotation ahead of their game against the Denver Nuggets. Bazemore was ruled out due to the health and safety protocols, a huge blow as he had been playing big minutes, including 35 last game. Damion Lee is also in the protocols, while Juan Toscano-Anderson is questionable to return from the concussion protocol. Coach Kerr only ran an eight man rotation last game, and with Bazemore leaving, it's likely that he'll do the same assuming JTA returns. Oubre will likely slide into his old starting position, and play big minutes; he played 35 last game off the bench, so he should be all systems go after missing a few games during an injury. Wiggins has averaged 39 minutes the last four games, and will continue to play big minutes. This should still be the Steph and Draymond show, but the minutes will certainly concentrate around all the starters. JTA's injury looms large ahead of their game.

In his pregame news conference, coach Steve Kerr mentioned that he's unsure if Kelly Oubre will play against the Boston Celtics. Kerr mentioned that regardless of Oubre's status, Kent Bazemore would continue to start for the team. If Oubre ends up sitting, this will likely keep Bazemore as a viable value play, along with Juan Toscano-Anderson, who started to play more last game. If Oubre does play, it would be difficult to project him for his regular workload coming off the bench; he'd be unlikely to reach his usual mid thirties, while having a lower floor for minutes too. Oubre's absence is the biggest piece of anticipated news remaining for tonight's slate.

Bazemore has officially been downgraded from questionable and won't play in Tuesday's matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a sore right calf, while De'Aaron Fox and Richaun Holmes were already previously listed out with their respective ailments. In Holmes' absence, Alex Len should be the leading candidate to receive the starting nod at the center position if head coach Luke Walton opts to go with a traditional starting five, and he had been fantastic in limited run prior to his most recent spot start. With Bazemore sidelined, either DaQuan Jeffries or Corey Brewer will likely remain the Kings' wing rotation, though Jeffries may get an extended look at the wing positions with Cory Joseph needing to spend a majority of his playing time at the point guard position with Fox sidelined.
