LeSean McCoy Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Antonio Brown and Cameron Brate both officially active today

Antonio Brown and Cameron Brate are both officially active today, as expected from earlier reports. LeSean McCoy is also active, and should work as the third RB.

Ronald Jones active today

Ronald Jones is active today, although Leonard Fournette has already been announced as the starter. Ke'Shawn Vaughn is inactive today, meaning LeSean McCoy will be active, likely working as the third RB.

LeSean McCoy, Tanner Hudson inactive today

LeSean McCoy and Tanner Hudson are inactive today for the Buccaneers. Ronald Jones is returning from a two-week absence and will work as the top back, while Rob Gronkowski and Cameron Brate will be the active TEs.

Leonard Fournette inactive today

Leonard Fournette is inactive today, a healthy scratch for the RB. This should lead to more work for Ronald Jones, with LeSean McCoy and Ke'Shawn Vaughn working behind him. Neither McCoy nor Vaughn have been getting work recently, so the backup RB situation here isn't clear, but this news only solidifies Jones' role as the top RB.

Leonard Fournette inactive Sunday

Early reports Sunday indicated Fournette would play, but he is officially inactive. This should set Ronald Jones up once again in a great spot. Even if LeSean McCoy takes on a slightly larger role, Jones should be the clear top back here, as he has been the past two weeks.

Leonard Fournette expected to be active but limited Sunday

Fournette is expected to be active Sunday, but to have a smaller than usual workload. That means Ronald Jones should work again as the clear top back, with LeSean McCoy possibly picking up some work as well. In Week 5, Jones got all 17 of the non-QB rush attempts and had his second straight 100-yard rushing game, so the Bucs might not feel the need to push Fournette too hard.

Chiefs RB LeSean McCoy is a Healthy Inactive for Today's AFC Championship Game Vs. The Titans

McCoy is a healthy scratch for today's do-or-die game vs. the Titans, as he had been frequently in the second half of the 2019 season. So much for Andy Reid's coachspeak of saving Shady for the playoffs.

Darwin Thompson will back up Damien WIlliams, who saw a whopping 97% of the snaps last week and will likely be the highest-owned player on the slate. Thompson, a rookie drafted out of the sixth round, will see higher ownership with McCoy out, but shouldn't be expected to see much of a role today barring a Williams injury. The Titans ranked 10th in DVOA vs. the run during the regular season, but Williams is an amazing play today because of his role, price, and his team's ITT.

LeSean McCoy (Illness), Matt Moore (Illness) Limited Friday, Questionable for Sunday

McCoy and Moore were limited in practice Friday and are officially questionable for Sunday, as they're both fighting off an illness this week. Moore will be the backup QB if healthy, while McCoy would likely have a limited role as the third RB.

LeSean McCoy (Illness), Matt Moore (Illness) Will Not Practice Wednesday

McCoy and Moore will not practice Wednesday with undisclosed illnesses. Both have time to get healthy, as the Chiefs do not play until Sunday.

RBBC Dwindling Around This Veteran RB

The RB committee that was around LeSean McCoy over the past few weeks has taken a hit, with both Damien and Darrell Williams already ruled out for the Week 14 matchup against the Pats, McCoy looks to be the lead back for the high powered KC offense. While the Chiefs still have Darwin Thompson and recently re-signed Spencer Ware, I expect McCoy to get the start here. The real concern for work being stolen away is Thompson, who saw 11 carries in last week's blowout win. With an expected competitive game on the horizon, I am assuming McCoy will be the go-to guy here in this backfield, and he has a very cheap price across the industry.
