Digging deep for a punt on the wing
Finding cheap options with upside tonight isn't the easiest, but enter Thomas Vanek who has picked up a point in three of his last four games. Vanek is just $3,100 on DraftKings and should be good for a couple shots on goal, and with backup Laurent Brossoit in net for Winnipeg, perhaps Vanek can find the scoresheet again. Winnipeg has been the most penalized team in the National Hockey League this season (15.60 PIM/G), and 34 year old Vanek still sees sufficient time with the man-advantage. Being at home certainly helps Vanek as last season he posted 30 points in 39 home games.
Two Inexpensive Line Stacks With Multi-Goal Potential
The Ottawa Senators have been an awful defensive team throughout the 2017-18 season, and they are playing their second game in as many nights, which puts the Columbus Blue Jackets offense in a terrific spot tonight at the Nationwide Arena. The Blue Jackets top line is the main attraction here, but there is plenty of value to be had on their second and third lines, and both of these lines are stackable tonight in GPPs.
