Adam Thielen will be out for the rest of the season after ankle surgery. With Thielen out this week against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night, Justin Jefferson will lead the receiving corps by a significant margin with K.J. Osborn and Tyler Conklin likely to be featured more in the passing game. Jefferson can be considered as one of the top plays on the showdown slate with Osborn and Conklin both worthy of consideration as well.

Adam Thielen is expected to play Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Thielen has been trending in the right direction this entire week after logging a practice every day, and should give it a go. With Thielen set to return K.J. Osborn and Tyler Conklin will likely see their target share decrease. Thielen should slot back in as the number two option behind Justin Jefferson and will be Kirk Cousins's top red zone target.

Adam Thielen (ankle) and C.J. Ham (hamstring) have been listed questionable for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Thielen was close to being able to play last week and was able to practice every day this week so he seems to be trending in the right direction to suit up this weekend. If he were unable to though, it could mean a larger workload for Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn as the top two pass-catchers for Kirk Cousins. If Ham were to be ruled out, the Vikings would likely elevate Jake Bargas to fill in at fullback, though he would not be expected to be DFS relevant.

Adam Thielen has returned to practice Wednesday ahead of the Vikings matchup this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Theielen seems to be on track to make his return this weekend where he should slot in as the compliment to Justin Jefferson. This will limit some of the upside enjoyed by both K.J. Osborn and Tyler Conklin in Theielen's absence. It will be important to monitor Theielen's practice status in the coming days but he seems to be trending in the right direction.

Thielen won't play Monday night, as the Vikings will play it safe here and give him an extra week to heal. Justin Jefferson becomes arguably the top play on the Showdown slate along with Dalvin Cook - both players benefit from Thielen's absence, but Jefferson becomes the unquestioned top target in the aerial attack. KJ Osborn is also a big winner for single-game slates, and Ihmir Smith-Marsette also becomes a viable dart-throw as the WR3. Both the TE and RB positions should see a slightly elevated target share as well with Thielen creating a big hole at WR that will not be filled entirely by the receiving corps.
