Sneaky Second Line In Great Spot
If you're looking for an under the radar line stack tonight, look to the second line of the Kings, which features Adrian Kempe, Tyler Toffoli, and Tanner Pearson. Filling in for the injured Jeff Carter, Kempe has been a solid compliment to "That 70s Line" this season with 18 points. They draw a fantastic matchup at home against an overrated Avalanche team that can be exposed on the road. With Anze Kopitar expected to take on Nathan MacKinnon and Colorado's top line for much of this game, look for the second line to carry the load offensively for the Kings in a game that LA should have no problems imposing their will offensively.
Gettin' Muzzy Wit It - Pt. II
Jake Muzzin was recommended last night, and he did not disappoint. Jake stretched his point streak to three consecutive games. Muzzin has 12 shots on goal to go along with five blocked shots in four games for the Los Angeles Kings this season. The Kings are always a tough team on home ice, and they draw a nice matchup against an Islander team that has struggled on the road and is also playing on back-to-back nights. The Kings' depth from the blueline, namely Drew Doughty and Alec Martinez, can limit Jake's upside, but his price (FanDuel - $4,600, DraftKings - $4,400 and FantasyDraft - $9,000) is attackable in all formats.
