Seth DeValve (Oblique) Doubtful for Sunday
DeValve will miss his fourth straight game on Sunday. O'Leary and Koyack will be the TE's for the Jaguars, and it is hard to imagine either producing significantly.
Josh Oliver (Back) Placed on Injured Reserve
Oliver was placed on IR Monday. Oliver ends the season with 3 catches for 15 yards, only appearing in four games, a disappointing rookie year for the 3rd-round draft pick.
Jaguars place Julius Thomas on IR
Thomas has missed the past two games with a back injury. Neal Sterling will likely be Jacksonville's primary receiving tight end, followed by Ben Koyack. Sterling had a nice game against the Broncos, catching 5-of-6 targets for 43 yards. The Jaguars host the Vikings on Sunday, which is a bad matchup for their whole offense; Jacksonville has a low implied total of 18.25 points.
Chris Ivory, Julius Thomas, and Allen Hurns all miss practice on Friday
The trio of Jaguars players have missed practice all week and appear unlikely to play Sunday when they host the Denver Broncos. Ben Koyack will likely get another start at TE in place of Thomas and is not a viable DFS option. Neither is Marqise Lee who has lately taken over the #2 WR spot for the Jaguars and whose role will be solidified if Hurns sits - he has to face a Broncos defense that is elite at stopping the pass. Ivory's absence is at least somewhat relevant from a DFS perspective as the Broncos are near the bottom of the league in Run DVOA. However, T.J. Yeldon is banged up himself and split the workload with Denard Robinson last week so it's hard to trust either given the likely time share.
