This player looks for his first goal of the season
After following up his disastrous regular season with a successful postseason, Bobby Ryan has three points, albeit all assists, in his first three games of the season. This is the one line I feel is stackable on the Senators right now as the other lines have some weak links. Ryan is playing with Derick Brassard and Mark Stone, a line that has a lot of upside. The Flames took a ton of penalties last season and while their PK was solid, they still allowed a bunch of goals due to the sheer volume of times being a man down. I expect the Senators to get quite a few power play opportunities and with this line staying together on the second PP unit, I feel they have GPP-winning upside.
Under-the-radar line has GGP winning upside
Bobby Ryan had a season to forget in 2016. However, he finished strong with an impressive showing in the playoffs. Tonight he is slate to play on the left wing with Derrick Brassard and Mark Stone. They are taking on the Detroit Red Wings who, despite looking solid in their opening game, is expected to be a bottom feeder this year. Erik Karlsson is still out, but this line could really take advantage of the lack of depth on Detroit. The trio looks to stay together on the power play adding to their upside.
