Columbus center eyes big night against AHL team

Ottawa was pasted 4-0 last night by the New Jersey Devils, and while they have not been the same sieve on home ice, they are in a tough spot against Columbus. Boone Jenner continues to log big minutes for John Tortorella's Blue Jackets and figures to be a factor again tonight against this atrocious Ottawa team. Columbus' top line is the one to target, but they do not come cheap. Jenner has been his most productive on the road (6G, 13A in 27 games), rather than at home (4G, 5A in 28 games) and makes for a fine option in all formats given his sub-$5,000 pricing on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

**Edit @ 1 PM -- With Matt Duchene having been acquired from Ottawa, the Blue Jackets' lines could be in flux. Fortunately, it is the first game of the night so we should get a clearer picture during warmups**

Second line center has come out firing in February

Boone Jenner has been influential in the Blue Jackets' resurgence to start this month as Columbus has gone 3-0 with all victories coming on the road. During this stretch, Jenner has a goal and four assists, and he has logged 20-plus minutes in consecutive games. With the Washington Capitals' generous defense coming to town on the tail end of a back-to-back, after allowing four goals to the timid Kings, Columbus is in a prime spot to produce. Of course, the team's top line in Panarin - Dubois - Atkinson are the one to target, but the second line should not be slept on as they've shown a lot of chemistry lately. Jenner is a cheap way to save at center.

Two Inexpensive Line Stacks With Multi-Goal Potential

The Ottawa Senators have been an awful defensive team throughout the 2017-18 season, and they are playing their second game in as many nights, which puts the Columbus Blue Jackets offense in a terrific spot tonight at the Nationwide Arena. The Blue Jackets top line is the main attraction here, but there is plenty of value to be had on their second and third lines, and both of these lines are stackable tonight in GPPs.

This Blue Jacket is quickly making up for lost time

A back injury kept him out of the lineup to start the season, but Boone Jenner is quickly making up for lost time. Jenner's assist against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday extended his point streak to three games and the 24-year-old now has a pair of goals and three assists in his seven games this season. He averaging nearly 20 minutes of ice-time per game thus far this season and plays a prominent role as the center of Columbus' #1 power-play unit. Tonight, he'll square off against a New York Rangers team that has surrendered an ugly 3.40 goals against per game and who's 2.92 xGA/60 ranks dead last in the NHL.
