Brett Howden Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
This winger leads his team in goals with a great matchup.
The New York Rangers host the Philadelphia Flyers who are on the tail-end of a back to back. The Flyers defeated the Winnipeg Jets last night, which bodes well for the Rangers as the Flyers should be tired. Chris Kreider, Mats Zuccarello and Brett Howden are playing together as the Rangers top line but it is a Kreider/Zuccarello mini-stack that is the most appealing. Kreider leads the team in goals with 22, Zucc leads the team in points with 44 and the two are leading the team in shots. Additionally, they play on the top power play unit together which gives them further correlation.
Rookie Center Returns to the Lineup
Brett Howden has been a pleasant surprise for the Rangers this season. The rookie has 9 points in 14 games, including five points in his last five games. He missed one game due to an upper body injury, but is set to return to the lineup tonight. An injury to Mats Zuccarello has shuffled the lines around some, but it looks like Howden will maintain his role centering Jimmy Vesey and Jesper Fast. At just $3600 on DraftKings, he makes for an excellent value play tonight.
