Kemba Walker OUT for final two games of season for Charlotte
With the Hornets out of the playoff race, it's no surprise that they will sit out their star for the final two games of the season. Briante Weber and Brian Roberts will pick up Walker's minutes and provide yet more value options on today's slate as the team faces Milwaukee.
Brian Roberts (illness) ruled out for tonight
Roberts will not play in tonight's game against the Washington Wizards due to an illness. Roberts has only played in 12 games for Charlotte all season, so his absence will not affect the Hornets' rotation whatsoever.
Brian Roberts (hamstring) active tonight; Frank Kaminsky (foot) ruled out
Kaminsky will miss his second straight game with a foot injury. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist seemed to benefit the most from Kaminsky's absence, sliding over to the power forward position at times, while Marvin Williams also saw extended run with the lack of frontcourt depth. Kidd-Gilchrist and Williams could provide some value on this slate, but they will most likely be more owned than they should be in this difficult matchup with a stout Miami squad.
Frank Kaminsky and Brian Roberts out tonight for Charlotte
The Hornets have announced that Kaminsky and Roberts will be out for their game tonight for their game against the Bucks. Cody Zeller is available.
Batum, Hawes, Roberts, Williams all ruled out for CHA tonight
It's not all that surprising to see Charlotte rest players on a second night of back-to-back in their final preseason game. There's not a whole lot of information currently available as far as which players will be the beneficiaries of additional playing time, but if we get any word that Kemba Walker will receive anywhere near his normal allotment of preseason minutes, he automatically becomes one of the premier point guard options on the slate.
Brian Roberts to be active tonight
Brian Roberts will be active tonight but will play the role left behind by Tim Frazier. Roberts is unlikely to see the court with Damian Lillard averaging 36 minutes on the season.
Brian Roberts has been traded to the Trail Blazers
The Heat have traded newly-acquired guard Brian Roberts to the Trail Blazers. The Heat have been trying to get under the tax line with their moves and have included a 2nd round pick in the deal. Roberts is not much of a DFS option and will likely only be used sparingly to back up Damian Lillard. Lillard is averaging 36 minutes on the season, so Roberts will not be playing much.
