This is about as good of a matchup as one can have as the Vancouver Canucks host the disastrous Ottawa Senators. Over the last month, the Senators have the 25th ranked CF% with a 45.95 rate. Additionally, they've given up a 63.50 CA/60 which is the third-worst over that stretch. Over the last month — 13 games — the Senators have allowed 4.23 goals against per game which bodes well for the Canucks. Elias Pettersson is centering Josh Leivo and Brock Boeser and this line makes for a very intriguing stack as they are all on the top power play unit. This gives the line full-game correlation and elite upside as a result.

This is an on-again off-again line that is pretty solid when out there together. Elias Pettersson has been an obvious stud as a rookie this year but has hit a bit of a wall with just 4 goals in his last 20 games. However, a matchup against the New York Rangers is a great one to get things going again. As Pettersson centres Josh Leivo and Brock Boeser, they take on a Rangers team that has a 46.95 CF% which ranks 26th over the last month and a fourth-worst CA/60 rate of 62.38. On the flip side, the Vancouver Canucks have had a top five CF/60 rate of 63.41 which ranks fourth overall in the last month.

Brock Boeser is having a solid season with 21 goals and 42 points in 50 games and has had the luxury of playing with Elias Pettersson as of late with a rotation of left-wingers. Currently, Nikolay Goldobin is the lucky left winger and the salary savings he brings makes this line a very affordable one with upside. Boeser and Pettersson make for a solid mini-stack as the two are on the top power play unit together and while the Avs have been a bit better as of late, they are still a team that can break down defensively and allow this line to get on the scoresheet.

Elias Pettersson has been more than anybody would have expected as a rookie. While the elite offensive ability was evident, nobody expected him to be this good, this quickly. He's got 26 goals and 54 points in 51 games in his first NHL season and has really settled in among the leagues most efficient goal-scorers. He's playing on a line with Brock Boeser and NHL journeyman Ryan Spooner. The line certainly has plenty of offensive upside and while Spooner is a nice cheap third-wheel, it may make more sense to stack just Boeser and Pettersson as a two-man mini-stack as they remain together on the top power play unit for the Vancouver Canucks while Spooner is relegated to PP2.

Once again, Elias Pettersson has a fantastic matchup tonight as the Anaheim Ducks are rolling out a goalie by the name of Kevin Boyle as John Gibson heads to the IR. He's centering Brock Boeser and Josh Leivo, a line that also remains in tact on the top power play unit. This gives an already solid line even more upside as they have full-game correlation and fantastic upside. The Anaheim Ducks have a 46.43 CF% over the last month which ranks 28th overall. While the Canucks haven't been much better as their 47.31 CF% ranks 24th, it's still a matchup worth targeting.

Maple Leafs fans weren't thrilled when Josh Leivo was dealt to the Canucks earlier this season. While Leivo had just six points in 27 games in Toronto, he has been much better in a significant role for Vancouver. He has four points in his last three games, and is skating along side Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser, which leads to plenty of opportunities. He faces a woeful Ducks team tonight, who will likely be starting Chad Johnson in net (no, not Ochocinco).

Barring a catastrophic injury, Elias Pettersson is a stone cold lock to win the Calder Trophy at this point. He leads all rookies with 25 goals — 11 more than Andreas Johnsson and Andrei Svechnikov who are tied for second. Additionally, he leads all rookies with 50 points — 19 more than the second plays Rasmus Dahlin. Even more impressive is that he has missed 11 games with an injury. He's playing with Brock Boeser and Josh Leivo tonight as the Vancouver Canucks host the San Jose Sharks. Now, Vancouver hasn't been playing great lately with just a 46.81 CF% over the last month, but the Sharks goaltending as struggled. Martin Jones has just a 2.90 GAA and a .899 SV% which could help offset the struggles of the Canucks. Even if they don't win, Vancouver could score a few goals and I expect this line to lead the way.

The Vancouver Canucks switched up their lines this morning and Elias Pettersson will be between Brock Boeser and Nikolay Goldobin. Since returning from his most recent injury, Pettersson has continued where he left off. He has five goals and eight points in seven games and has continued his absurd shooting percentage. This entire line is also slated to be on the top power play unit so going with the full line stack that has full-game correlation and elite upside is the way to go against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Elias Pettersson has been better than anybody could have anticipated this season. He's put up 19 goals in 36 games which paces out to 43 goals over an 82 game season. He's currently slated to centre Brock Boeser and Antoine Roussel on the Vancouver Canucks second line as they head to Ottawa to take on the Senators. Ottawa remains dead last in goals against per game at 3.98. They are allowing 60.36 CA/60 over the last three weeks which is the ninth most over that stretch. Pettersson and Boeser both play on the top power play unit which gives the two-man mini-stack additional upside as Roussel doesn't put up many offensive points, so leaving him off may be the best route to go.

The problem that the Vancouver Canucks have is not scoring goals so picking on a Flyers team that is depleted at the goaltender position seems almost optimal this evening. We all know how well Elias Petterssen is doing this season but upon further speculation, his numbers on home ice are even more amazing. In the 12 games in front of the home crowd he has lit the lamp eight times and has added seven assists. Conversely in the 16 road games he has appeared in he has notched the same eight goals but has added three more assists. Brock Boeser has missed time as well which is important here as it seems that these two young superstars do much better with each other than without.
