Bojan Bogdanovic active and available to debut for Washington tonight; Chris McCollough will be inactive
Bojan Bogdanovic was brought to the Washington Wizards to provide bench depth and he is available to play off the bench tonight. Considering the game is against Philadelphia, Bogdanovic should be able to make value. It's unclear who will take see a reduction in playing time with Bogdanovic around but Kelly Oubre carries the most risk moving forward. Chris McCollough is not active for tonight's game.
Washington Wizards acquire Bojan Bogdanovich from Brooklyn Nets
Over the All Star break, the Washington Wizards moved Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton, and a lottery-protected 2017 first round pick to the Brooklyn Nets in return for Bojan Bogdanovich and Chris McCullough. The veteran guard/forward should step right in as a key contributor for the Wizards although he'll be hard-pressed to reach the nearly 30 minutes of playing time he had been getting over the past three weeks for Brooklyn - his value in DFS takes a dramatic hit due to the change in teams.
Chris McCullough recalled from Nets D-League affiliate
Chris McCullough will be with the team for tonight's tilt with the Grizzlies. The team is likely bringing him up to have some extra big men against a team that loves to play big. No players are currently affected by this move but if someone is rested we'll make sure to send out another update.
Chris McCullough recalled from Nets D-League affiliate
The Nets have recalled big man Chris McCollough in advance of tonight's game against the Wizards. The Nets are playing on the second night of a back-to-back and are playing their third game in four nights. It's does not look like anyone is being rested by the Nets and McCullough is simply being recalled for emergency purposes.
Chris McCullough recalled from Nets D-League affiliate
Chris McCullough will join the Nets tonight but is not expected to play. Even if he plays, he'll likely play less than 10 minutes and not have a significant DFS impact. The move was made to provide depth in the even of an emergency with Caris LeVert out tonight.
Nets recall Chris McCullough from their D-League affiliate
The Brooklyn Nets have officially announced that the team has recalled Chris McCullough from the Long Island Nets of the NBA Development League. McCullough has only appeared in ten games thus far this season for the Nets, so his promotion to the active roster will not have any affect on the rotation.
Thomas Robinson (knee) ruled out for Wednesday
Thomas Robinson's season is over and will not play due to a knee injury on Wednesday. Henry Sims started in his place on Monday and had 8 points, 8 rebounds, and some peripherals for 24.1 FanDuel fpts. Sims is a low-end value play against the Raptors with 14 games on the slate. Chris McCullough has also stepped up with a bunch of the Nets' big men out of the lineup, he's averaged 21.08 fpts over his last four games, three of which were starts. McCullough should see 24-28 minutes making him a viable low-end option as well.
Nets starters: Larkin, Ellington, Bogdanovic, McCullough, and Sims on Monday
The Nets will replace the injured Thomas Robinson with Henry Sims. The rest of the starting five remains the same from the previous game. Sims is a GPP dart throw that does not have more than 23 fpts upside. Since his salary is sub-4k on both major sites, he should be able to exceed value against the Wizards but gets a tough match up with Marcin Gortat. Expect Sims to play 30+ minutes if he can stay out of foul trouble, making him a viable tournament option.
Thomas Robinson doubtful for Monday
Robinson is considered doubtful for tonight's tilt with the Wizards. He's been a monster in terms of fantasy production since the Nets began resting Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez, but that trend appears to be coming to an end here tonight. He left yesterday's game with the Pacers after just nine minutes on the floor and it's very likely that he doesn't see the court against this season. Chris McCollough and Henry Sims stand to benefit with Robinson unlikely to play, although neither player did anything of note in yesterday's game. With the Nets front-court as thin as it is, expect both players to clear 20-25 minutes against the Wizards.
Nets to start: Larkin, Ellington, Bogdanovic, McCullough, and Robinson
The Nets will only replace Rondae Hollis-Jefferson with Chris McCullough. The rest of the starters have been starting and are viable options against the Hornets. Expect Robinson to heavily owned after another dominating performance against the Wizards on Wednesday. Robinson's salary has spiked to extreme levels, $6,600 on FD but a playable level of $5,500 on DK.
