KCC RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire not expected to be on a snap count Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. With CEH healthy, he should split the Kansas City backfield with Williams (if available), Jerrick McKinnon, and Derrick Gore all potentially mixing in. It is difficult to trust the Chiefs backfield situation after this past weekend though, where McKinnon ended up seeing 78% of the running back snaps. If Williams is ruled out, CEH and McKinnon could see a larger share of the overall workload as they would likely split the snaps Williams would have seen. Even with the information that CEH is not expected to be on a snap count, it will be difficult to confidently play any member of the Chiefs backfield in DFS contests after what happened last weekend.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After returning to practice Wednesday and then logging two DNPs due to his shoulder injury, CEH will be unable to suit up for this weekend’s game. With CEH ruled out, Darrel Williams is expected to once again lead the backfield and will need to be considered in DFS contests. Williams is dealing with a toe injury but is expected to play this week and see his full workload. Williams has impressed in previous weeks when given the opportunity to lead the backfield for the Chiefs and has played a significant role in the passing game. Williams would be backed up by Derrick Gore and Jerrick McKinnon but neither would be expected to play a large enough role to be worth considering in DFS.
