D'Wayne Eskridge Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

SEA WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) and WR Dee Eskridge are both active Week 8.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) and WR Dee Eskridge are both active Week 8.

SEA QB Russell Wilson and WR Dee Eskridge have been activated from IR to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday

As expected, Russell Wilson and Dee Eskridge have been activated from the IR to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. With Wilson back all Seahawks pass-catchers are expected to see a boost in their production. This is especially important for wide receivers D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett who suffered while Wilson was sidelined. Dee Eskridge is expected to see his first action since Week 1 and should slot in as the wide receiver 3/4 for the Seahawks.

SEA QB Russell Wilson full participant in practice Wednesday; RB Chris Carson and WR Dee Eskridge return to practice, status still in question for Sunday

Russell Wilson will be a full participant in practice Wednesday and is expected to start Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, while Chris Carson and Dee Eskridge returned to practice their status is still in question for this weekend. Carson would likely slot back into his role as the primary back for the Seahawks with Alex Collins and Rashaad Penny available to back him up. If Carson were to miss Collins would be the lead back with Penny and Travis Homer available to back him up. Dee Eskridge could see his first game action since Week 1 where he suffered a concussion but at this time is not expected to see enough snaps to be DFS relevant.

SEA TE Gerald Everett and WR D'Wayne Eskridge ruled out Thursday; RB Chris Carson remains a game-time decision; WR Phillip Dorsett elevated from practice squad

The Seahawks are shuffling things around ahead of the TNF matchup against the LA Rams. Everett was unable to get a second negative COVID test; therefore, he won't be activated off the COVID-19 list, and will miss the game against the Rams. Menawhile, Eskridge has been dealing with a concussion since week one, and ultimately the Seahawks decided to place him on injured reserve. In his place, Dorsett was elevated from the practice squad and is expected to be active tonight. He'll likely be the WR4, behind Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf definitely ahead, and likely Freddie Swain as well. As for Carson, he remains a game-time decision; he's been dealing with a neck, and every source and beat reporter has said that it's truly a 50-50 call. It'll be Alex Collins filling if he sits, as well as Travis Homer on passing downs.

SEA RB Chris Carson (neck) listed questionable for Thursday; WR D'Wayne Eskridge (concussion) listed out

Chris Carson has officially been listed as questionable for Thursday while WR D'Wayne Eskridge has been listed as out. Carson is dealing with a neck injury and will be a game-time decision. If he is unable to go Alex Collins would step into the feature back role with Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas available to back him up. Collins would immediately become a top value play on the showdown slate. Eskridge will miss his 4th straight game while in concussion protocol meaning Freddie Swain will step into the WR3 role. Seattle's top two receivers (D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett) soak up almost all of the targets but it is possible for Swain to offer some value if he is able to haul in a few targets.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett officially active; D'Wayne Eskridge officially inactive

As expected, Lockett is in while Eskridge was downgraded to out. Lockett will be one of the top two options for the team, while Freddie Swain will be the third wideout. Gerald Everett remained on the COVID list so it will be Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson leading the way.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett (hip) isted questionable for Sunday; WR D'Wayne Eskridge (concussion) listed doubtful; RB Rashaad Penny (calf) ruled out

A huge question mark for the DFS slate will be Lockett, who was banged up last week due to a hip injury and was listed as questionable. Eskridge isn't expected to play either, so if Lockett sits, it could be thin behind D.K. Metcalf. Freddie Swain would be the second receiver likely, but Phillip Dorsett was signed to the practice squad and could be elevated if needed. Penny will sit once again, so Carson will be the main back, with Travis Homer and Alex Collins mixing in to spell Carson as needed. Metcalf would be one of the more popular plays if Lockett sits, and even if he plays should be counted on against a 49ers defense that has been struggling due to their decimated secondary.

SEA WR Dee Eskridge ruled out for Sunday

Dee Eskridge has been ruled out for Sunday when the Seahawks are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings, Eskridge was expected to play a minimal role and his absence should not be a factor. The Seattle passing attack should continue to run through DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

SEA RB Rashaad Penny and WR Dee Eskridge both officially inactive

Penny and Eskridge were both listed as doubtful, and ultimately will sit against the Titans. Chris Carson will get a few more carries as a result, while Freddie Swain will likely play the third wide receiver role.

SEA WR D'Wayne Eskridge (concussion) and Rashaad Penny (calf) listed doubtful

The Seahawks listed two players as doubtful, which was surprising for different reasons. Penny was expected to miss multiple weeks when his injury news first came out, so his doubtful tag is good news relatively (although not for this game). Eskridge meanwhile is in the concussion protocol and is unlikely to clear it by Sunday. The Seahawks offense was quite concentrated last game, as Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf, Gerald Everett, and Will Dissly played the majority of the snaps. Freddie Swain will likely play a few more now that Eskridge is expected to sit, but he shouldn't be in DFS consideration. With no Penny, Chris Carson becomes a better play, although Alex Collins and Deejay Dallas will still be around to steal some work.
