Dallas Goedert has returned to practice on Thursday ahead of the Eagles matchup with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. If Goedert is fully cleared and good to go he should instantly slot back into the top tight end role for Philadelphia and is could be considered in DFS contests. If he were unable to suit up, Jack Stoll and Tyree Jackson would split the tight end snaps with Stoll more likely to see the majority of snaps. He would become a tremendous value option in an offense that relies heavily on its primary tight end. It will be important to monitor how Goedert progresses through the protocol this week and if he is able to be cleared in time for Sunday’s game.

Dallas Goedert logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of the Eagles game on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Goedert is currently in the concussion protocol so his status is extremely uncertain for this weekend. If he were unable to suit up, Jack Stoll and Tyree Jackson would split the tight end snaps with Stoll more likely to see the majority of snaps. He would become a tremendous value option in an offense that relies heavily on its primary tight end. As expected, Dallas Goedert has not been listed on the injury report, and is expected to play Sunday when the Eagles are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders. Goedert, who is returning from the COVID list, is now the number one tight end with no real competition in Philadelphia after the Eagles traded away Zach Ertz to the Arizona Cardinals last week. Goedert now slots in as the Eagles' second best pass catcher behind DeVonta Smith, and should be considered in DFS contests going forward and especially this week in a matchup where the Eagles could be forced to throw the ball if they fall behind early.

After missing the Eagles Thursday Night game due to COVID-19, Goedert was activated back to the 53 man roster as the Eagles prepare to play the Las Vegas Raiders. After splitting time with Zach Ertz throughout the year, Goedert will now have his workload go up as Ertz was traded to Arizona last week. Goedert was limited in practice but should be all systems go and will be a viable DFS play now that his playing time and target projection have increased.

Goedert was unable to clear the COVID-19 protocols, and will officially miss the game tonight against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Eagles elected to elevate Togiai from the practice squad; he's not likely to see many snaps and is more of a depth piece, but on a showdown slate anything is viable. Zach Ertz will be the most popular play from the Eagles, as his salary was listed before the DFS sites knew that Goedert would sit.

Goedert was placed on the COVID-19 list, a worrisome sign as the Eagles play the Bucs on Thursday Night Football. Goedert appears to have had a positive COVID-19 test, so he'll need two negative tests in order to be activated, almost impossible to happen before Thursday. Zach Ertz is definitely the biggest winner, as he won't have to split time with Goedert, and is at a cheap salary for the showdown slate. A few more targets to the WRs may be expected as well.
