Tyler Higbee has been placed on IR, while Darrell Henderson has been activated from IR ahead of the Super Bowl. WIth Higbee now officially out, Kendall Blanton will serve as the lead tight end for the Rams with Brycen Hopkins available to back him up and play in two tight end sets. DK has priced Blanton up after he played a significant portion of the snaps in the conference championship so there is no real value to be gained here. Blanton will still be worthy of consideration as he should be involved in the passing game for Los Angeles and has touchdown upside. Darrell Henderson should be available this Sunday, but will likely only play a minor role in the Los Angeles backfield. HC Sean McVay stated that he would be willing to ride the hot hand at running back but it is tough to imagine a scenario where Henderson overtakes both Cam Akers and Sony Michel within the course of the game. Right now, Akers is expected to lead the backfield with Michel mixing in as he is the better back when it comes to pass protection. Henderson is the best receiving back of the three and could be used that way. Akers and Michel project to be the top backs in the backfield but if 150 max entering it wouldn't hurt to have a few shares of Henderson who could catch a few passes and fall into the endzone.

Darrell Henderson, Odell Beckham Jr., and Brycen Hopkins were all activated from the COVID list and expected to play Tuesday against the Seattle Seahawks. Henderson should reassume the role as the top running back for the Rams and see the majority of carries out of the backfield with backup Sony Michel occasionally getting some opportunities. Henderson will be a top DFS option. Beckham should assume his role alongside Van Jefferson as the top Rams pass catching options behind Cooper Kupp and is a viable DFS option. Hopkins along with Kendall Blanton will serve as the primary backups at tight end to Tyler Higbee. Hopkins would not be considered a relevant DFS option at this time.

In his absence Sony Michel should lead the Rams backfield after putting up great numbers last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Obviously this matchup should be a bit tougher but Michel can be considered as a showdown slate option.

Darrell Henderson (thigh) will return to practice Thursday ahead of the Rams Monday night matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Henderson is expected to reclaim his lead back role in the Rams backfield but there is the potential that the gap between he and Sony Michel could have narrowed after Michel's performance during Henderson's absence last weekend. Henderson's upside could be limited on the showdown slate Monday and this should be taken into account when creating lineups.

Darrell Henderson will test his thigh pregame but team is "not optimistic" he will be able to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Henderson likely out, Sony Michel will be the lead back with only newly elevated Mekhi Sargent available to back him up. Michel instantly becomes one of the best plays on the entire slate with what should be a tremendous workload in a great matchup. Even if Henderson is cleared to play he would be limited and wouldn't take much work away from Michel. Michel should be considered in all formats this week as an elite play.
