Indianapolis Colts sign RB Darrynton Evans.

CHI RB Darrynton Evans and K Michael Badgley has been elevated from the practice squad.

Julio's hamstring woes continue, as the injury that he suffered a few weeks ago will keep him out as the Titans prepare to play the Indianapolis Colts. Jones has played the last two games, but has only been able to play 65% and 43% of snaps; it looks like the Titans will try to rest him completely and hope it that helps him in the long term. This should lead to a few more snaps for Marcus Johnson, Nick Westbrook-Ikheine, and Josh Reynolds, although the main winner will certainly be A.J. Brown. The Titans do run two tight sends frequently, so despite the opportunity for some receivers to play, DFS consideration should remain with A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry. As for the RBs behind Henry, it'll be Jeremy McNichols, as Evans and Blasingame were both ruled out, and Evans was placed on IR and is done for the year.

Darrynton Evans has been activated from IR and should serve as Derrick Henry's backup if Jeremy McNichols is unable to suit up. Mason Kinsey has been elevated to the active roster and should serve as wide receiver depth with Chester Rogers already being ruled out. Mekhi Sargent has been waived leaving Khari Blasingame as the primary fullback for the Titans. None of these players project to be DFS relevant this weekend.

Ahead of the Titans MNF game, there were a few transactions that would marginally affect the showdown slate. Carter was elevated to the gameday roster, which is a likely sign that their regular fullback, Khari Blasingame, will sit; he's currently listed questionable. Evans was not elevated from the I.R., so he will not make his season debut yet. Jeremy McNichols is listed as questionable, but likely will remain the backup RB assuming he is active.

Darrynton Evans is inactive today, but he was not projected to have a real role in the offense anyways. Khari Blasingame will work as the Titans' third RB.

Evans was held out of Wednesday's practice, as was most of the team, but the Titans announced that they've placed the reserve running back on injured reserve, effectively ruling him out of Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans and the following two games. His absence will elevate Jeremy Nichols to the undisputed number two back behind Derrick Henry and should see at least some passing down work even without a Henry injury. McNichols only logged a 9.7% snap share and ran nine routes in Tuesday night's win over the Buffalo Bills, but those figures figure to rise with no other running backs currently on the Titans' active roster.

Evans is active Week 3, his first time suiting up this season. There is very little opportunity for any back besides Derrick Henry in this offense, and Evans has little realistic upside.

A.J. Brown, Darrynton Evans and Geoff Swaim are all inactive Sunday. None of these inactives are surprising, and the outlook for the Titans remains the same: Derrick Henry should get significant touches all day in a game where they are heavy favorites.
