Devin Smith Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

JAC WR Devin Smith elevated from practice squad for Sunday

Devin Smith has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday, he should serve as depth at wide receiver for the Jaguars and is not expected to play much of a role if any in the offense.

Tony Pollard, Devin Smith Inactive Thursday

Pollard is inactive Thursday night, leaving the Cowboys with just RB Ezekiel Elliott and FB Jamize Olawale for the running game. WR Devin Smith is also inactive, not surprising since he hasn't played since Week 4.

Cedrick Wilson, Devin Smith Inactive for Cowboys

Both Wilson and Smith are inactive Thursday for the Cowboys.

Cowboys WR Devin Smith is Inactive Today

Smith being out has little DFS impact and should open up more opportunity for Randall Cobb.

Cedrick Wilson, Devin Smith and LB Leighton Vander Esch Inactive for Cowboys Monday

The Cowboys are without two WRs, Cedrick Wilson and Devin Smith, although the fantasy impact is minimal. Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch is also inactive for the Cowboys. He was questionable coming into tonight, and his absence will force the Cowboys to shuffle around their LBs.

Cowboys WRs Randall Cobb, Amari Cooper are Active, WR Devin Smith is Inactive

As expected, Cooper and Cobb are active for tonight's game, while Smith is a health scratch. Fire up the Dallas offense in your Showdown contests tonight with confidence.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (Ankle, Quad), WR Randall Cobb (Back), OT La’el Collins (Knee), OT Tyron Smith (Ankle) and CB Byron Jones (Hamstring) all Expected to Play on Sunday Night

This is huge news for the Cowboys, who should be at full strength offensively against the Eagles in a critical NFC East tilt on Sunday Night Football. With both OTs back, the entire offense should be more efficient. Check back for inactives about an hour and a half before this game starts to be sure none of these key players suffer any setbacks.

Zeke and Gallup are most affected by the surprising health of the Dallas offense. Elliot saw 28 carries and six targets last week since he had to be relied on more heavily with Cooper and Cobb hurt. Zeke can never be counted out to have a big game, but it seems less probable with his volume likely to decrease against a Philly defense that ranks second in DVOA vs. the run. Gallup was expected to be an excellent value play, but with Cooper back, his target projection will decrease tremendously. Gallup is still having an excellent 2019 campaign, meaning he should be considered for tournaments ranging from single-game to the main slate nonetheless. The pass-funnel Eagles defense has allowed the most FPs to WRs this season.

Cowboys WR Randall Cobb and LT Tyron Smith Inactive

As expected, Smith will be sidelined along with Cobb. Devin Smith may see additional snaps in the slot.

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup Expected to Play Against Packers

Gallup did an excellent job stretching the field for the Cowboys before his injury and he appears to be ready to continue a breakout 2019 campaign. Although Gallup is projected only a 14% target share at home vs. the Packers, he is an interesting tournament option because Amari Cooper could see a lot of CB Jaire Alexander, who is currently the top-rated corner in the NFL by PFF.

Michael Gallup (Knee) Out 2-4 Weeks

Gallup is having arthroscopic surgery to trim his meniscus and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. Gallup had taken a significant jump forward this season, averaging 113 yards per game and 17.4 yards per catch. Amari Cooper will remain the number one option with Randall Cobb as the slot receiver. Devin Smith should see the biggest increase in his role. He had a strong Week 2, catching all 3 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown.
