Eric Young Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
Speed At The Bottom Of This Lineup
Eric Young Jr. will probably go over-looked since he's normally batting at the bottom of the Angels lineup, but he still makes for a fantastic tournament option. This game will take place in 94 degree heat and feature opposing pitcher Yovani Gallardo, who has an 11.6 BB% and allowing 35% hard contact. If Young Jr. can get on, it wouldn't shock me if he used his speed to swipe a base. He's only a few seasons removed from swiping 30 bags, so the speed is definitely there.
Speed To Burn For This Outfielder In Premier Spot
Mike Trout continues to battle his wrist injury, and that's opened up an opportunity for Eric Young Jr. to join the Angels' lineup as a cheap punt option. Young has only played seven games with the Angels this season and has yet to swipe a bag, but he'll face gas-can Jacob Turner in a late-night hammer game. Turner is not great at keeping runners on-base or holding them on. In fact, Turner isn't great at many things related to pitching. The Angels are a sneaky stack tonight (mmm, sneaky snacks...) and I like EY Jr. if you need some salary relief.
