Gary Barnidge was limited Sunday due to knee injury

Barnidge hurt his knee early in the game on Sunday, which forced coach Hue Jackson to rotate him in. He finished the game with only one reception foe 11 yards. He'll have Week 13 to rehab as the Browns are on a bye. He should be good to go for their Week 14 matchup with the Bengals. It's a great matchup if he's healthy, the Bengals rank 28th in TE DVOA.

Gary Bardnidge will play against the Titans

He was dealing with injuries to his forearm and hip this week, but he's all set to play today. Barnidge has seen an increase in targets each week so far. Tennessee has a pretty strong pass defense though, they rank 8th in DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, and have only allowed four touchdowns through the air. Despite the tough matchup, Barnidge should see a solid number of targets as the Browns don't have many other options.

Gary Barnidge listed as questionable for this week

The Browns starting TE is listed as questionable by the team for their game this weekend against the Titans. He's still expected to play but is a lower end TE play this week going as Tennessee is top 8 in DVOA and Pass DVOA.

Gary Barnidge (forearm/hip) limited in practice Wednesday

He hadn't been on the injury report previously so this a new issue. The details weren't immediately available, but it doesn't seem like anything too serious. Barnidge has had at least five receptions and 50 yards for three straight weeks. Surprisingly, he hasn't had a single red zone target yet this year, but it's only a matter of time before he scores as the Browns don't have many other options. Of course, the Browns need to make it to the red zone to begin with. They've run just 26 plays inside the 20-yard line this season, the second fewest in the NFL. The Titans have a pretty solid pass defense, allowing only four touchdowns through five games. Football Outsiders ranks them 8th in pass DVOA. With all of the great options at tight end this week, it isn't the best time to target Barnidge, even if he's healthy.

RGIII "in pain" - status up in air for this week

Robert Griffin III told reporters he was in pain and after having limited mobility at the end of the game and requiring an MRI today his status is uncertain for this week. If he is unable to go, Josh McCown would regain the starting role temporarily as home underdogs against the Ravens, who looked excellent defensively yesterday. McCown playing would be a definite upgrade for Gary Barnidge who was shut out yesterday. We'll update RGIII's status as more news comes in.

Gary Barnidge and Travis Benjamin "good to go

Johnny Manziel will have his two top weapons this week with Gary Barnidge (ankle) and Travis Benjamin (shoulder) both expected to play today against the 49ers. Manziel has shown big play ability in his starts this season with Travis Benjamin the main beneficiary of Manziel's broken play ability. Benjamin will be a GPP play with his inconsistent target volume this season with totals of 3, 4, 10, 10, 12, 13, 8, 5, 6, 11, 13, 2 and the 49ers coming in ranked #18 vs. WR's in the Schedule-Adjusted Defense vs. Position Rankings. Barnidge will be in play for both cash and GPP games, receiving 7 targets or more in his last 8 games - 10, 9, 7, 11, 7, 8, 11, 8 - though his match up is not spectacular with the 49ers ranked #14 against the TE in our Schedule-Adjusted Defense vs. Position Rankings (DvP). Manziel faces a 49ers defense who comes in ranked #21 against QB's.
