Greivis Vasquez ruled out for Friday

Vasquez has missed the last two games and continues to be out for Friday. Isaiah Whitehead will likely be used as the backup PG, but has a chance to start. We don't have the salaries yet but Whitehead should still be in the salary basement across the industry. He does not have to do much to exceed value and should be a fine option if he can play 24+ minutes. The Nets get a tough matchup against the slow-paced Hornets tomorrow, lowering everyone's ceiling.

Brooklyn Nets injury report for tonight

Randy Foye is doubtful while Greivis Vasquez and Caris LeVert have been ruled out for the Nets for their game tonight against the Pistons. Those three missed the teams last game so the team's rotation should be similar to what they rolled with in that game.

Greivis Vasquez, Randy Foye, and Caris LeVert all out for Brooklyn tonight

Three role players for the Nets are out tonight with various injuries. It'll thin out the rotation for the team and give more minutes to their core players but other than that it's not that meaningful for the purposes of DFS.

Jerryd Bayless (knee) ruled out again on Sunday

Bayless will miss his second consecutive game due to a hyperextended knee. Rashad Vaughn started in his place and 23 minutes, scoring only 11.3 fpts. Vaughn is better utilized coming off the bench but won't see extended minutes with Greivis Vasquez also healthy. Vasquez played 12 minutes on Friday but did not contribute much fantasy value in the win. Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to see all the usage and is coming off a triple-double. Antetokounmpo remains a strong tournament option with his huge upside but is a poor cash game play due to the low floor relative to his salary.

Jerryd Bayless doubtful; Tyler Ennis questionable for Bucks tonight

Bayless looks as if he will miss the Bucks game tonight against the Magic and his replacement in the starting lineup, Tyler Ennis, is also listed as questionable. Ennis is an excellent value option at PG if he is able to play as he is near minimum price and showed upside putting up 31.8 FanDuel fpts just two games ago. If he can't go look for Greivis Vasquez and Rashad Vaughn to split time with Vaughn being the preferred target of the two after playing 20+ minutes the teams last two games.

Greivis Vasquez (ankle) is available to play Wednesday

Greivis Vasquez has been out since December as he recovers from ankle surgery. Vasquez is not a viable option until he cracks the rotation and sees consistent minutes. With Jason Kidd stating that he would like Giannis Antetokounmpo to play as a point guard, there is not much work left for Vasquez.

Greivis Vasquez listed as doubtful for Wednesday

Greivis Vasquez has not played since late November due to an ankle injury. Vasquez was able to practice but has not been cleared for game action. The Bucks have listed him as doubtful as opposed to being officially out. Vasquez is not a DFS option and his return will not have much of an impact.

Greivis Vasquez not expected to play Wednesday

With Vasquez likely out, Jerryd Bayless should see upwards of 30 minutes as the starting PG, with Michael Carter-Williams acting as the backup after a dreadful past few weeks for his personal performance. O.J. Mayo is again expected to draw the start at SG, and his minutes should remain relatively stable as a starter as long as Vasquez is out. Both Bayless and Mayo are potential GPP targets against a very tough Spurs defense. It's not a winning strategy in the long run to target players against the Spurs, who have been among the league's toughest defenses across the board this year.

Greivis Vasquez will not play Monday

Vasquez will miss another game on Monday, opening up big minutes for new starter Jerryd Bayless, who is far too cheap given the minutes he's expected to see. Bayless can be confidently plugged into a lineup in any format on Monday. Michael Carter-Williams will see time behind Bayless, but he's been a disaster of late and isn't expected to see many minutes. O.J. Mayo also benefits with Vasquez out.

Greivis Vasquez out Sunday

Vasquez will not play for the Bucks on Sunday. This makes Jerryd Bayless a very safe play with MCW headed to the bench. Bayless is priced at just $4,500 on both sites.
