DAL WR James Washington (foot) has been activated off IR.

James Washington carted off the field and Dallas Cowboys fear he suffered a Jones fracture in his foot, per Adam Schefter.

James Washington has been activated from COVID list ahead of Sunday's first round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Washington should slot back in as the fourth receiver for the Steelers behind Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and Ray-Ray McCloud. It is also worth noting that JuJu Smith-Schuster has been designated to return to practice and could be activated by Saturday which would push Washington down even further on the depth chart. At this point, Washington is not expected to see enough snaps or targets to be considered a good DFS target.

James Washington has been placed on the COVID list ahead of the Steelers matchup with the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday. Washington was expected to serve as the fourth receiver for Pittsburgh but this role will now likely be played by Cody White. Washington's target share will likely be split between Ray-Ray McCloud and White, though neither is expected to see enough work to be considered in DFS contests at this time.

The Steelers will be getting one of their big three back, as Claypool was not listed on the final report and will play against the Denver Broncos. Washington was ruled out due to a groin injury, although he wouldn't have played a relevant role with Claypool returning. Claypool, Diontae Johnson, and Juju Smith-Schuster will be the usual top trio against a stingy Broncos defense.

McDonald and Smith-Schuster have both been ruled out for Sunday. Nick Vannett will be the top TE for the Steelers, while Diontae Johnson and James Washington will be the top options at WR.

Both Smith-Schuster and Conner have been ruled out Sunday for the Steelers. Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels will handle RB duties, while James Washington will benefit from Smith-Schuster being out.

Johnson appears recovered from his illness, as he was able to practice fully Thursday. Smith-Schuster missed practice again and is doubtful to play this week.

Conner and Johnson are expected to play this week, while Smith-Schuster is trying to work his way back but looking doubtful. Both Johnson and Washington have benefited from Smith-Schuster missing the past two games.

The Steelers are likely to be without two of their top weapons, with Smith-Schuster already ruled out and Conner doubtful for Sunday. Snell worked as the top RB last week, gaining 98 yards on 21 carries.
