Deebo Samuel and Trey Sermon both logged DNPs Wednesday while JaMycal Hasty returned to practice ahead of the 49ers matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. Samuel is expected to miss a week or two meaning Brandon Aiyuk should be the top receiver for the 49ers and will likely see a few more targets increasing his expected production. Eli Mitchell should remain the top back in the backfield with Jeff Wilson and the returning JaMycal Hasty available to back him up.

As expected, JaMycal Hasty has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings while Elijah Mitchell has been listed questionable. Elijah Mitchell missed last weekend’s game after having surgery to repair a broken finger but has the possibility to return this weekend. If available, he should reclaim his role as the lead back in the San Francisco backfield with Jeff Wilson available to back him up. It is worth noting that Deebo Samuel has played an important role in the backfield the last few weeks but he could return to his role as the top receiver for the 49ers with the return of Mitchell. If Mitchell is ruled out, Wilson and Samuel will split running back duties once again making Samuel an elite dual threat option similar to Cordarrelle Patterson but with more upside. It will be important to look at inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff on Sunday to check Mitchell's status.

With Sanu out, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle could dominate even more of the target share than they are accustomed to making them stronger plays.

Tanner Hudson is expected to serve as tight end depth and is not DFS relevant at this time.

As expected, Trey Lance has been ruled out for Sunday night, meaning Jimmy Garoppolo will start against the Indianapolis Colts. Garoppolo, who had an extra week to heal due to the bye week should be considered as one of the top options for the showdown slate. JaMycal Hasty will be activated off of the IR for Sunday and will enter the running back group for the 49ers. Coach Shanahan likes rotating running backs, and he should be able to do that with Elijah Mitchell (expected to see the most work), Hasty, and Trey Sermon available. All can be considered for the showdown slate Sunday night.
