DET RB D'Andre Swift (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

We're still not sweating. We'll raise our eyebrow just a little higher if he is unable to participate Friday, but for now we're taking his word for it that he's fine.

Lions HC Dan Campbell says starters (except Jared Goff) will be prepared to play a half in Sunday's Preseason Week 3 game.

Jared Goff, Josh Reynolds, and Brock Wright have all been listed questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Green Bay Packer, while Jason Cabinda has been listed out. Jared Goff is closer to probable according to HC Dan Campbell so he should be good to play this weekend. If he were to have a setback Tim Boyle would draw the start and hurt all pass-catchers. If Reynolds were unable to play this week, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond could play even bigger roles in the passing game than they are normally accustomed to. St. Brown would be worthy of consideration in DFS contests. If Wright were to be ruled out, Jared Pinkney and Ross Travis would likely split tight end snaps though neither would be expected to be DFS relevant.

Goff should be set to start Sunday after logging a full practice today which is good news for all Detroit pass-catchers. This is not a good sign for a potential Swift return in week 14 but it is still possible depending on what he is listed as on the injury report tomorrow If Swift is unable to return it would be Jamaal Williams once again leading the backfield with Jermar Jefferson (if available) and Godwin Igwebuike available to back him up. Williams could be considered in most formats due to expected volume. This could be a maintenance day for Hockenson but if he were to be ruled out, Brock Wright would be in line to see the bulk of the snaps at tight end for the Lions.
