Christian McCaffrey (Knee), Curtis Samuel (Shoulder) and Jarius Wright (Ankle) All Full Practice Participants Thursday
McCaffrey, Samuel and Wright were all upgraded to full practice participants Thursday. All three will be ready to play this week.
Curtis Samuel (Shoulder), Jarius Wright (Ankle) Do Not Practice; Christian McCaffrey (Knee) Limited Wednesday
Samuel and Wright did not practice Wednesday, while McCaffrey was limited. McCaffrey's injury is not considered serious, and he should see his usual workload this week.
WR Torrey Smith (knee) ruled out for Week 8
With Smith being somewhat productive of late, look for fellow wideouts Jarius Wright and D.J. Moore to see more snaps and potentially a target or two more as a result.
Adam Thielen will start with Diggs out
Thielen is third on the team in targets with 17. He should see a sharp increase in his snap count as the second receiver today. There has also been a lot of buzz around the industry about slot receiver Jarius Wright as he's expected to see the field for the first time. Last year he had 442 receiving yards with no touchdowns. He'll match up with Kareem Jackson, who scores a below-average 57.9 by Pro Football Focus. Kyle Rudolph is the only passing game option worth considering for cash, he should see a ton of looks in Diggs' absence; he's currently tied with the receiver with 33 targets.
