Jermaine Kearse Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

WRs Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse sidelined again Thursday with foot injuries

Both wideouts appear unlikely to play in the season finale leaving Robby Anderson to see a massive target share in a game the Jets are expected to be trailing throughout, which would force them to pass early and often.

WR Quincy Enunwa will play Sunday; Robby Anderson listed as doubtful

Enunwa will play through his ankle injury in Week 10 while Anderson is expected to be sidelined by his. Enunwa and fellow wideout Jermaine Kearse may have some added upside this week due to Anderson's absence together with Josh McCown starting at QB in place of rookie Sam Darnold. Additionally, the Bills struggling offense should afford ample opportunities for the Jets passing offense despite the low game total.

WRs Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa both questionable for Sunday

Both receivers got in limited practices Friday and would be readily welcomed back by a struggling Jets passing offense. If neither is able to play in Week 9, Jermaine Kearse could be a target monster again on Sunday against the Dolphins, though how effective those targets would be is up for debate. Enunwa had already established himself as rookie Sam Darnold's most trusted pass-catcher prior to missing time and would likely see the largest target share if he's able to return.

WRs Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson miss practice again Thursday

Both receivers are now looking doubtful for Week 9 leaving Jermaine Kearse as a potential target monster again on Sunday against the Dolphins. How effective those targets will be on this Jets' struggling offense is up for debate however.

WR Robby Anderson doubtful for Week 8

Anderson was reported to have somewhere "between a high-ankle and low-ankle sprain" so the doubtful tag is not surprising. Rookie Sam Darnold will likely be using a 3-WR set of Jermaine Kearse, newly-signed Rishard Matthews, and journeyman Andre Roberts on Sunday, making the Bears D/ST a great option this week as a large home favorite.

Robby Anderson (ankle) logs another DNP on Thursday

Head Coach Todd Bowles says Anderson has somewhere "between a high-ankle and low-ankle sprain" and now looks doubtful for Week 8. Rookie Sam Darnold could be using a 3-WR set of Jermaine Kearse, newly-signed Rishard Matthews, and journeyman Andre Roberts in Chicago on Sunday, making the Bears D/ST a great option this week.

Jets are releasing WR Terrelle Pryor

Adam Schefter reports that the Jets have parted ways with Pryor for now but may bring him back once he returns to full health. With Quincy Enunwa sidelined, the Jets will depend on Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse for at least the next couple weeks. The Jets are still a low-volume passing offense so we still shouldn't expect huge numbers from either receiver despite the bump.

RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) questionable for Week 7 while WR Terrelle Pryor (groin) is doubtful

Crowell got in a limited practice on Friday while Pryor sat. Even if Crowell plays, the matchup isn't ripe this week against the Vikings with the Jets installed as 3.5-point underdogs. With WR Quincy Enunwa also ruled out, Pryor's absence opens the door for Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to be target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense. Both receivers are $4500 or less on DraftKings this week.

RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) and WR Terrelle Pryor (groin) officially DNP's Thursday

Both players appear questionable for Week 7 and Friday's practice report will be telling. Even if Crowell plays, the matchup isn't ripe this week against the Vikings with the Jets installed as 3.5-point underdogs. With Enunwa already out, Pryor's absence would open the door for Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to become target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense. Both receivers are $4500 or less on DraftKings this week.

Jets rule out Quincy Enunwa for Sunday; Isaiah Crowell, Robby Anderson, Terrelle Pryor all miss Wednesday's session

The Jets have ruled out Quincy Enunwa for Sunda.; Isaiah Crowell, Robby Anderson, Terrelle Pryor all missed Wednesday's session, and the Jets will certainly need some depth at WR with Enunwa on the shelf. Jermaine Kearse led the team in looks last week and would figure to step into Enunwa's role for the most part, setting him up as a potential punt play at the WR spot. He's probably a better fit on full-point PPR sites, but he'd get a boost if either Anderson or Pryor end up being inactive. We'll track the status of these guys as the week progresses.
