Joel Anthony is expected to be waived by the Sixers. Still, the deal was made to acquire Denver's first-round pick that Houston was holding. Joel Anthony came to Houston from Detriot in the deal for Donatas Motiejunas.
Rockets trade Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton to Detroit Pistons
Motiejunas and Thornton are going to the Pistons in exchange for Joel Anthony and a draft pick. It's not a trade that has immediate DFS implications as Motiejunas has been hurt and is unlikely to get big minutes for the Pistons at this time, but it is worth keeping an eye on as Motiejunas has flashed signs of being an above average player when given the opportunity.
