Jordan Cameron headed to IR
Cameron is still dealing with a concussion he suffered in Week 3. Unfortunately, he's had four concussions in his career, and this one could end his career. Miami will start MarQueis Gray this week in Cameron's absence until Dion Sims returns. Gray won't have much fantasy value though.
Dion Sims practices for second straight day for Miami
The Dolphins TE looks as if he will return to action this week after practicing for the second straight day. Jordan Cameron continues to remain out so it'll be Sims and MarQueis Gray splitting the work at the TE position for Miami. They face a Jets defense that is 31st in Pass DVOA and 20th in TE DVOA but given the uncertainty at the position and the team utilizing TE's much you can avoid utilizing these two in your DFS rosters.
Jordan Cameron and Dion Sims in concussion protocol
The #1 and #2 TE's for the Dolphins are both in the concussion protocol which will leave MarQueis Gray as the top TE. It's a decent match up against the Jets (20th in TE DVOA, 31st in Pass DVOA) for Gray and he could be a sneaky GPP play if you're running out multiple lineups.
Jordan Cameron continues to remain out due to concussion
The Dolphins TE did not practice today and appears extremely unlikely to play this week against the Steelers. Dion Sims will continue to work as the main TE passing threat for the team but is not a viable DFS option going against a Pittsburgh team that is 6th in TE DVOA.
Jordan Cameron ruled out for Week 5
Cameron has been in the concussion protocol since Week 3, which will keep him out of Miami's upcoming matchup with Tennessee. There is no timetable for his return at this point. Dion Sims will start in his place, but he isn't a player worth considering in fantasy. Look for all of the targets to head in the direction of Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, and Kenny Stills, in that order. DeVante Parker may have the best matchup of the three as he'll see a good amount of Perrish Cox, who holds an abysmal grade of 38 by PFF. Cox was burned for a pair of touchdowns by Will Fuller last week. Miami will likely use Parker as the deep threat and Landry as the short-to-medium depth target monster that he usually is.
Dolphins have no timetable for Jordan Cameron's return
Cameron is now dealing with his fourth concussion, and the team had reached out to him to suggest that he see a concussion specialist. They haven't provided a timetable for his return, but he's all but ruled out for Week 5 and will likely miss at least a week or two beyond that given his history. Dion Sims will take the reins at TE until Cameron is able to take the field, but Sims unfortunately doesn't provide any real DFS value of his own. He was targeted just twice in this past Thursday's game with the Bengals.
Jordan Cameron will miss Thursday's game due to concussion
Cameron suffered a concussion against the Browns yesterday and will miss their game on Thursday. Dion Sims will be the likely starter but is not a viable DFS option.
