Lance Dunbar Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
Lance Dunbar inactive Week 12
Rookie Justin Davis will be Todd Gurley's backup this afternoon with Dunbar and Malcolm Brown both out. Gurley has a nice spot against a Saints defense giving up the third-most yards per carry this season (4.7) and the eighth-most receiving yards to RBs (49.4/g). Gurley has averaged 3.8 receptions per game with 11.2 yards per catch and three receiving touchdowns. He should be able to continue to rack up fantasy points in both phases of the offense regardless of game flow.
Lance Dunbar inactive against Packers
This is good for Ezekiel Elliott as Dunbar takes his passing down work when in the lineup. Last week, Zeke had a career-high three receptions for 37 yards with Dunbar sidelined. There's a good chance he could match or beat those numbers today as the Cowboys may need to throw more than normal. The Packers have had the best run defense this season, allowing just 2.0 yards per carry.
Lance Dunbar (knee) misses Wednesday's practice
Nothing major here, but Dunbar missed Wednesday's practice with a knee ailment. He hasn't been seeing much time on the field with Elliott and Morris eating up most of the work at RB, although Dallas has had a fairly easy schedule to start the season which hasn't forced them into many pass-happy situations. Dunbar will get work as a passing down back when those situations arise, but if he's forced to miss any time, those looks could go Elliott's way.
