Leonard Hankerson out for Falcons game this Sunday
As expected, Leonard Hankerson will again sit out this week. This should mean more targets for Roddy White and Jacob Tamme. White's hard to trust as he hasn't done anything of value this season but Tamme could be an interesting GPP play against a Bucs team that is somewhat vulnerable to the pass.
Leonard Hankerson unlikely to play Sunday
The Falcons WR is not practicing again today and Head Coach Dan Quinn stated that "it's tough to get ready for Sunday after missing two practices" which leads us to believe that he is unlikely to play this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Julio Jones is obviously the preferred target for the Falcons against a Bucs defense that is #21 in WR DvP. It's hard to trust the other options, Roddy White and Justin Hardy, but there might be some value for Jacob Tamme who has had some decent games in the past when Hankerson didn't play.
Leonard Hankerson will not play Sunday
Hankerson has struggled with injuries all season and will miss this weekends game. Jacob Tamme becomes an interesting option at TE as he has thrived in games where the wide out has not played.
Leonard Hankerson practices today
It's been a tough season for Hankerson who was expected to have a significant role in the Falcons offense but has struggled due to injuries. He practiced today as the Falcons prepare to take on the Colts - it's a match up that could be a good one for the Atlanta WR if he is able to play.
Leonard Hankerson ruled out vs. SF
This has been the prevailing thought all week. Hankerson's absence will lead to a bigger role for Roddy White, although he's not DFS viable right now. Julio Jones will continue to see the large majority of the WR targets, with Justin Hardy also providing depth behind White.
Leonard Hankerson will not play in Week 8
Leonard Hankerson has been ruled out for Sunday's game with the Buccaneers. While this will open up playing time for Roddy White, he's still not an attractive DFS play given his very limited role to this point in the year. Julio Jones was an elite play at WR before this news, and is still a nice high-floor/high-ceiling play against Tampa. Jones looked healthy last weekend after having a nice 10-day break, so there's no reason to worry about a nagging injury with him. Justin Hardy will be active on Sunday and while he's not a recommended DFS target, he could be worth a look as a deep GPP punt play.
