OG Anunoby (thigh) and Yuta Watanabe (quad) have been ruled out Sunday, while Malachi Flynn (hamstring) will be available to play. OG was a late addition to the injury report after suffering a thigh injury on Friday. With OG out the Raptors could elect to go with a bigger starting five and insert Precious Achiuwa (or another big) into the lineup or they could elect to keep Siakam at the five and insert Chris Boucher. Malachi Flynn who is now available, could be tasked with soaking up some of Anunoby's minutes off the bench while the other minutes should be spread among the other available Raptors.

Fred VanVleet (knee) and Malachi Flynn (hamstring) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, while newly signed Armoni Brooks will be available. With no traditional point guard available for the Raptors, Pascal Siakam will likely be called upon to run the point with Scottie Barnes also able to handle those duties with the starting group. Dalano Blanton should see extra run off the bench and it's possible we even see Armoni Brooks make his debut after being signed earlier today. Siakam and Barnes are set to see increased playmaking opportunities on top of their huge minutes and should be considered better plays today.

Raptors will start Flynn, Trent, Barnes, Siakam and Birch on Tuesday. This is the same starting lineup as last night and Malachi Flynn remains a top punt option in all formats assuming he gets similar run as last night.

Fred VanVleet out on Monday; Raptors will start Flynn, Trent, Barnes, Siakam and Birch. This is an unexpected wrinkle as Flynn will start for Fred VanVleet. It's unclear if he'll get true starter minutes so proceed with some caution.

The Raptors decided to start Flynn in place of VanVleet Thursday. His minutes should be a little more secure now that he's starting, but he still will defer to the other starters likely. DeAndre Bembry loses some value, as he was an option to start, but it will be Flynn instead.

Flynn has played 30 minutes in three straight games while playing off the bench, but will make his first career start today as the Raptors take on the Chicago Bulls. With Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet injured and DeAndre Bembry suspended, Flynn will have to be the Raptors' primary ballhandler. Flynn has scored 35 DK points or more in all three of the last games, and he's almost guaranteed to play heavy minutes since the Raptors still only have eight bodies. On the year, Flynn averages 0.98 FPM with no Lowry or VanVleet on the floor, per CourtIQ. His salary has rose around the industry, but still should be a good play due to the amount of minutes he has to play.

Fred VanVleet, Rodney Hood both ruled out Tuesday. FVV will miss his second straight game while Hood misses his third consecutive contest. Malachi Flynn didn't get the start last night, but was able to see 30+ minutes for the second consecutive game and posted nearly 50 fantasy points with the Raptors shorthanded. He'll get another shot to see a starter's workload on Tuesday with Toronto lacking depth at PG. We'll also see OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam take on more offensive responsibility in the front-court with Gary Trent Jr. likely getting a few extra shots up.
