Veteran forward has three goals in his last four games
Not normally one to shoot the puck, Marcus Johansson has been far more aggressive recently as he has taken 15 shots over his last four games. While the Lightning are sound defensively, Louis Domingue has had a heavy workload, and he has started to show signs of cracking, allowing four goals in back to back games. He did settle down after an awful first 30 minutes against the Florida Panthers, but he is in for a tough assignment against a New Jersey team that plays much better on home ice where they are averaging 3.58 goals per game. Johansson sees power play time on the team's top unit, and with the Devils desperate for a win, Marcus (DraftKings - $4,100 & FanDuel - $3,700) can keep his little hot streak going.
A value option against the NHL's worst penalty kill
The New Jersey Devils may be in the midst of a total free-fall, but that doesn't mean you should overlook them this evening. They'll make the short treck to Brooklyn tonight to battle a New York Islanders team that was forced into overtime last night and who happen to own an abysmal 73.9% penalty kill. Marcus Johansson dished out an assist against the Islanders in their his only previous meeting against John Tavares and Company and holds the reigns as the center of New Jersey's very dangerous #1 power-play (ranked 7th in the NHL). Dirt cheap almost everywhere, he's a fine value option in all formats this evening.
