Marqise Lee Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Jaguars Place Marqise Lee (Shoulder) on Injured Reserve

Lee has been placed on the IR by the Jaguars. He was never able to find a role this year, catching just 3 passes for 18 yards over 6 games.

Dede Westbrook (Neck/Shoulder) Questionable Sunday; Marqise Lee (Ankle) Not on Injury Report

Both Westbrook and Lee are expected to play for the Jaguars Sunday against the Jets. Lee was out last week and will be near the bottom of the depth chart. Westbrook has draw 28 targets over the last 3 weeks and will be heavily involved if he can play.

Marqise Lee (Ankle), Dede Westbrook (Neck/Shoulder) Do Not Practice Thursday

Westbrook missed his second straight practice, while Lee was downgraded after being limited Wednesday.

Marqise Lee (Ankle) Expected to Return This Week

Lee missed last week but is expected to return for the Jaguars this week. His role remains limited and he is not a major fantasy factor, with just 2 catches and 10 yards on the season.

Marqise Lee (Ankle), Geoff Swaim (Concussion, Ankle) Both Out Sunday; Dede Westbrook (Shoulder) Questionable

Both Lee and Swaim played last week but combined for just 2 targets. Westbrook would be a significant loss for the Jaguars. He has 19 targets over the last two weeks and has been a solid 2nd WR behind DJ Chark. Chris Conley should see increased usage from the WR injuries.

Marqise Lee (Ankle), Geoff Swaim (Concussion, Ankle) Not Practicing; Josh Oliver (Hamstring) Limited Wednesday

There is a good chance both Lee and Swaim will be out this week for Jacksonville. Oliver has been limited in practice for a couple weeks and not been able to play, so he should still be considered unlikely to play until he can practice fully.

Marqise Lee (Sprained Ankle) Week-to-Week

Lee hurt his ankle and had to leave the previous game early. His status is considered week-to-week, meaning there is a chance he will be out for this upcoming week. Lee has been playing 20-30% of the offensive snaps each week but only has 3 targets on the year, so his loss won't be significant for Jacksonville.

Marqise Lee active vs. Titans

Marqise Lee is active vs. Titans after missing Week 2 with a knee injury. It's looking like he's going to be on somewhat of a snap count, and likely won't eat too much into the workload of Dede Westbrook and DJ Chark (even Chris Conley to a lesser extent). Lee is a potential contrarian target for Showdown formats, but he still carries plenty of risk on a team that doesn't figure to have all that much success through the air.

Chris Conley (Hip) Limited, Marqise Lee (Knee), DJ Chark (Ankle) Full Practice Participants

Marqise Lee looks ready to make his 2019 debut, but his role in the offense appears to have diminished. Chark and Conley have been the most effective receiving options for the Jaguars, each with at least 10 catches, 170 yards and 17 yards per catch. Gardner Minshew threw for just 213 yards in his first start, so the offense could be limited through the air. Conley's status is in doubt for the Thursday night Week 3 game and should be monitored as kickoff approaches.

Jaguars CB A.J. Bouye (Hip), WR Marqise Lee (Knee) Downgraded to Out Against Texans

The injury bug continues to hit the Jags hard, as DE Yannick Ngakoue (hamstring), T Cedric Ogbuehi (hamstring), and TE Josh Oliver (hamstring) are already out for Week 2. With defensive stars and Super Bowl hero Nick Foles sidelined, Vegas already had the Jaguars likely to struggle in Houston before Bouye and Lee were ruled out.

Bouye is an elite defender; he has allowed a 66.6 passer rating when playing outside CB per PFF. Fellow CB Jalen Ramsey, who was able to shut down Tyreek Hill last week before Hill left the game due to injury, will have his hands full with DeAndre Hopkins. Home-run threat WR Will Fuller, who had a spectacular 54-yard reception in Week 1, will likely see the biggest benefit with Bouye out. Fuller accumulated 111 air yards on just three targets last week, but he has potential for a big game with his team projected to score 25 points at home. Additionally, Jacksonville just allowed a monster outing to their last opponent's WR2.
