Jordan Clarkson and Marcelo Huertas starting tonight; Brandon Ingram and Metta World Peace to the bench

Clarkson and Huertas have been confirmed in the starting lineup for tonight's game against the Houston Rockets, sending Brandon Ingram and Metta World Peace back to the bench to resume reserve roles. Huertas will continue to be a starter in name only, as Lou Williams will see the majority of backcourt minutes alongside Clarkson. The primary targets from this game are still the trio of Clarkson, Williams, and Ingram, while Julius Randle remains an intriguing tournament option, though the return of Larry Nance makes his minutes less secure. Ingram takes a slight hit in value off the bench but should see a nice uptick in usage with the second unit, meaning he is certainly still a viable option.

Metta World Peace will start in place of Jose Calderon (hamstring) tonight; Brandon Ingram slides over to point guard

Metta World Peace will draw the start at shooting guard in tonight's game against the Utah Jazz for the injured Jose Calderon. This lineup change moves Brandon Ingram over to point guard in the "starting" unit. It shouldn't have to be said, but DO NOT roster Metta World Peace in any format, on any slate, or just ever in general. Now that we have that out of the way, let's move on. Ingram is the clear beneficiary of additional minutes with this move, as he will see time with both the first and second units and will likely close out the game as well. He is a great cash game option at his price tag, but it remains to be seen whether he can convert all these minutes into actual tournament-winning upside. Tonight is as good as any. Godspeed Brandon.

Kobe Bryant questionable for Friday against the Nuggets

Kobe Bryant is listed as questionable to play on Friday. Metta World Peace will likely start in his place. World Peace is not a strong DFS option on Friday. Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell see the biggest boost with Bryant out of the lineup. Look for an update tomorrow regarding Bryant's status.

Metta World Peace confirmed as the starter for Kobe Bryant on Friday

Metta World Peace will start on Friday for Kobe Bryant. World Peace is a low-end DFS option and is only viable for the late slate. With Bryant out of the lineup, look for D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson to play well. Lou Williams should be a contrarian play with upside.

Kobe "50-50" for tomorrow night

Kobe's status for Friday is still up in the air after he didn't take the court on Tuesday night. If he's unable to go, both D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson will see an uptick in value, as will Lou Williams off the bench. We'll update Kobe's status again after tomorrow's shootaround. Metta World Peace will likely draw another start if Kobe isn't able to play.

Metta World Peace confirmed as the starter for Kobe Bryant

As we noted earlier, Metta World Peace was expected to start. He is a viable option in the late slate and should see over 20 minutes tonight. Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell stand to benefit the most with Kobe Bryant out of the lineup.

Kobe Bryant (shoulder) out on Tuesday; Metta World Peace expected to start

Kobe Bryant will miss tonight's contest against the Kings with a sore shoulder. He was 50-50 coming into the game, so it is no surprise that he is out. Metta World Peace is expected to start in his place and could be a viable punt option. World Peace has not scored over 21 DKFP this season so his upside is limited. Playing against the Kings does give his value a slight boost but expectations should not be too high. D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson benefit the most with Bryant out, making Lou Williams the contrarian option.

Metta World Peace starting Monday

Metta World Peace will be starting in place of Kobe Bryant on Monday against the Suns. He is not a viable DFS option and D'Angelo Russell with Jordan Clarkson will get a ton of opportunities tonight. Look for Lou Williams and Nick Young to also get a ton of shots. Larry Nance Jr. even played well the last time Kobe Bryant missed a game. The Lakers will likely get blown out, so expect the bench to get some run.

Metta World Peace to start for Kobe on Wednesday

Metta World Peace will be getting his second start in a row for the Lakers. Last night he played well, but the Lakers still got blown out. World Peace had 14 points in 22 minutes and didn't provide much else. He is not much of a DFS option due to his lack of stats outside of scoring. With Byron Scott having no idea how to manage minutes, the only bets on the Lakers are Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle. Clarkson gets a tough matchup tonight against Oladipo while Randle should guard Tobias Harris.

Metta World Peace to start for Kobe

Metta World Peace will draw the start at SG with Kobe Bryant out of action. He's obviously not going to see a ton of run and won't put up many shots, so he's a GPP play at best tonight. Jordan Clarkson should see an uptick in shot attempts with Louis Williams and Nick Young also providing added depth off the bench.
