Michael Campanaro Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Michael Campanaro active Week 13; Breshad Perriman inactive

Campanaro is averaging 1.5 receptions per game, so his presence won't make a huge impact.

Terrance West and Michael Campanaro ruled out for Week 9; Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace questionable

Per beat writer Jeff Zrebiec, coach John Harbaugh expects Collins to get more and more opportunities in the coming weeks. That would come at the expense of Buck Allen, who played a season-low 31 snaps in Week 8 to Collins' 32. The running back was impressive on his way to 113 rushing yards on 18 carries (6.3ypc) against a Miami defense that ranked seventh in adjusted line yards (per FO) heading into the week. He leads the league with 6.0 yards per carry and now he's getting a little involved in the passing game, a role once monopolized by Allen. On Thursday, Collins successfully hauled in both of his targets for 30 yards, showing the coaching staff his versatility. He'll battle the Titans this weekend, whose defense is allowing the eighth-fewest rushing yards per game to RBs (81.4) but they're 19th in adjusted line yards (per FO). At $4.6 on DraftKings this week, Collins could turn out to be a bargain if he ends up with an expanded role. Both Maclin and Wallace are expected to play this weekend. The Titans pass defense is allowing the third-most touchdowns to WRs this season (1.3/g) but quarterback Joe Flacco has only tossed multiple scores in one game. As a team, the Ravens are last in the league in yards per drive and 28th in points per drive (per FO). Not surprisingly, they have a low implied total of 19.75 points this week.

Mike Wallace, Jeremy Maclin, and Breshad Perriman questionable for Week 8, Michael Campanaro doubtful, Terrance West ruled out

Baltimore's top three receivers are officially questionable for their Thursday night game against the Dolphins. Joining them with a 'Q' tag: S Eric Weddle, TE Ben Watson, LB Terrell Suggs, LB Patrick Onwausor, RG Matt Skura, and CB Jimmy Smith. TE Maxx Williams has been ruled out and WR Chris Matthews is doubtful. Perriman and Maclin were inactive Sunday and Wallace exited early with a concussion so Flacco peppered Allen with a team-high 11 targets. The Dolphins are allowing the 11th-most receptions to RBs this season (5.8 per game) and now rank 28th in receiving RB DVOA after Matt Forte and Bilal Powell combined for a 7/81/0 line in Week 7. Allen out-snapped Alex Collins 88 to 38 over the past two weeks without West and he should continue that trend against the pass-funnel Miami defense that ranked third in rush DVOA and 27th against the pass. At receiver, Chris Moore and Griff Whalen both played 58-of-65 snaps last Sunday. Moore was second on the team with eight looks and hauled in Flacco’s lone TD but he finished with just two receptions. He ended up leading the team in receiving yards despite only having 44 of them. Even if the top three receivers miss another game, it doesn’t seem like he’ll offer much upside. If Maclin is able to make his return, he'll have a nice matchup with Dolphins slot CB Bobby McCain, who's given up 16 receptions on 18 targets when lined up inside. It's not a particularly appealing game though as it features two inept offenses. Not surprisingly, Vegas has given it the lowest total on the board (37).

Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman, and Jeremy Maclin are practicing again Tuesday; Terrance West and Michael Campanaro aren't participating

Benjamin Watson isn't participating either but he was present yesterday and could be getting a vet's rest day Tuesday. Overall, Baltimore's pass-catchers are pretty banged up heading into their Thursday night showdown against Miami. Perriman and Maclin were inactive Sunday and Wallace exited early with a concussion so Flacco peppered Allen with a team-high 11 targets. The Dolphins are allowing the 11th-most receptions to RBs this season (5.8 per game) and ranked 21st in receiving RB DVOA heading into Week 7 – before Matt Forte and Bilal Powell combined for a 7/81/0 line. Allen out-snapped Alex Collins 88 to 38 over the past two weeks without West and he should continue that trend against the pass-funnel Miami defense that ranked second in rush DVOA and 28th against the pass heading into Week 7. It's not a particularly appealing game though as it features two inept offenses. Not surprisingly, Vegas has given it the lowest total on the board (37.5).

Terrance West (calf) questionable for Week 3

The running back was originally dealing with a soft tissue injury to his thigh, which kept him limited in Week 2 - he only tallied 15 snaps to Buck Allen's 42 - and he's now rehabbing a calf issue. He wasn't able to practice the past two days but he returned for a full session Friday. As long as West is banged up, it'll be a boost for Allen, who racked up 101 yards and a score on 19 touches against the Browns in Week 2. He'll face a stout Jaguars defense in Week 3 but they showed some vulnerabilities against the rush this past weekend when they allowed Derrick Henry to pick up 94 rushes and a touchdown on just 14 carries. Although Henry wasn't used in the passing game, a week prior, Jacksonville allowed running backs Lamar Miller and Tyler Ervin to combine for six receptions and 49 receiving yards. That bodes well for Allen, who will be tasked with running the football and have an active role in the passing game. Considering how tough the Jaguars secondary has been, he could see a sizeable volume of touches through the air. Against the Browns, he was second on the team with six targets and caught a touchdown. There have been some rumblings that RB3 Alex Collins could pick up more work following his performance in Week 2, but Allen should still handle the bulk of the running back duties if West ends up sidelined.

Terrance West (calf) isn't practicing Thursday, Michael Campanaro (ankle) is participating

The running back was dealing with a soft tissue injury to his thigh that played a part in his limited participation in Baltimore's Week 2 game against the Browns - he only tallied 15 snaps while Buck Allen was on the field for 42. Now he's apparently dealing with a calf injury. It's not clear when he suffered the new injury as he didn't practice yesterday. As long as West is banged up, it'll be a boost for Allen, who racked up 101 yards and a score on 19 touches against the Browns in Week 2. He'll face a stout Jaguars defense in Week 3 but they showed some vulnerabilities against the rush this past weekend - they allowed Derrick Henry to pick up 94 rushes and a touchdown on just 14 carries. Ravens WR Michael Campanaro (ankle) added to injury report, questionable for Week 2

He was limited in practice Friday. If he suits up Sunday, he won't be on the fantasy radar as the Ravens' fourth receiver. There were some rumblings he could pick up some pass-down work in the backfield after Danny Woodhead was injured, but Baltimore seemed to quell those rumors when they promoted Jeremy Langford from the practice squad.
