A new opportunity for this former offensive force

With Todd McLellan's forward lines seemingly constantly evolving, veteran Michael Cammalleri looks to be the newest beneficiary as he's slated to join Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl on the Oiler's top forward line this evening. While he's been earily quiet lately, Cammalleri does have two 80+ point seasons on his NHL resume and has proven to still be a dangerous offensive weapon in years past. With the Colorado Avalanche invading the Rogers Place having surrendered 3.30 goals against per game on the road this season (and without the services of their best player Nathan MacKinnon), Cammalleri should have no trouble exceeding value at this bargain price-point.

McDavid's newest wing-man

Playing alongside Connor McDavid is fantasy gold for any winger, but after joining the team just two weeks ago via a trade from Los Angeles, Michael Cammalleri's fantasy stock is certainly on the rise. Cammalleri is set to join McDavid and Milan Lucic on Edmonton's new-look top forward line and the veteran winger may have slowed down a bit in recent seasons, but is still very capable offensively. He has a pair of 80+ point seasons on his NHL resume and his experience and play-making abilities now make him one of the top dollar-for-dollar options tonight in a very favorable home matchup against an Arizona team that has surrendered an NHL worst 3.62 goals against per game this season.

This veteran is still producing in his 15th season.

With Jeff Carter sidelined for the foreseeable future, Los Angeles is going to need someone to step up on offense. Luckily, Michael Cammalleri has been up to the challenge lately. Cammalleri expolded for four points against the Canadiens last week and followed it up with an assist in Columbus over the weekend. While he's clearly on the down-swing of his solid NHL career, this is still a guy with two 80-point seasons on his NHL resume and he seems to have developed a very nice rapport with the talented Adrian Kempe.
