TBB WR Mike Evans (Calf) listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday.

The reports from the past two days will teach us very little about who is / is not available Sunday, and we are now hostages to the Friday report before we truly make projections for this team.

Antonio Brown expected to play Sunday, while Mike Evans is expected to play in a limited capacity when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the New York Jets. With Brown likely to play, he becomes one of the better plays on the slate due to expected volume in a tremendous matchup. Evans is also expected to suit up but will play only in a limited capacity as he works his way back from a hamstring injury as well as spending time on the COVID list. Evans can reach value on a limited number of snaps, but it will limit his upside and it is likely best to look elsewhere in DFS contests. With Evans limited, Brown could see even more targets than he was already expected to see, as well as Rob Gronkowski and Breshad Perriman potentially playing bigger roles in the passing game.

Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, and Justin Watson have all been listed questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Depending on which receivers are active for the Buccaneers, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller could be called upon to play larger roles in the Tampa Bay offense. Perriman could be considered as a value option if Evans or Brown are ruled out. It will be important to check inactives when they are released 90 minutes before kickoff.

As expected, Mike Evans has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Evans suiting up this weekend seemed like a longshot so it comes as now surprise that he has officially been ruled out. With no Evans, Chris Godwin, or Leonard Fournette the Buccaneers will be rather thin this weekend. Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, and Tyler Johnson should see the bulk of the targets for Tampa Bay and should be considered at their respective price points. With Fournette placed on injured reserve earlier this week Ronald Jones should see the bulk of the carries for Tampa Bay with Ke'Shaugh Vaughn available to back him up. Jones can be considered in all formats.

As expected, Leonard Fournette has been placed on IR. With Fournette ruled out, Ronald Jones is expected to serve lead back duties this Sunday with Ke'Shaughn Vaughn and the newly signed Le'Veon Bell available to back him up. Jones projects as one of the better value plays on the slate and will need to be considered in most lineups. Jaelon Darden has been placed on the COVID list, he was not expected to play a major role this weekend and his likely absence is not expected to be DFS relevant. Mike Evans logged a second DNP Thursday and seems to be trending the wrong way for this weekend's game. Chris Godwin is out for the year with a torn ACL, leaving Evans and Brown as the top receivers for Tampa Bay. Right now, it seems like a longshot for Evans to suit up this weekend so Brown looks like one of the best plays on the slate. Brown should see a ton of targets with Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller also available as receivers. It will be important to monitor Evans’s listing on the injury report released tomorrow.
