Young blue liner draws prime spot to produce
The Anaheim Ducks have been hot with nine wins in their last 10 contests, but they could be in for a letdown here tonight after upsetting the Penguins last night in Pittsburgh. Neal Pionk has a modest 17 points in 30 games, but he has been much more productive on home ice with 11 points in 15 games. Anaheim has taken the most minor penalties in the National Hockey League this season and figure to find themselves short-handed once again tonight. Pionk has been productive with the man-advantage, and his price across the industry (DraftKings - $4,000 & FanDuel - $4,500) is not restrictive.
Young Defenseman Gets Bump to Number One Power Play
With Kevin Shattenkirk on the bench tonight, Neal Pionk is set to play on the number one unit with the man advantage. Pionk was undrafted, but has made waves at every level, including winning the Defenseman of the Year in the USHL in 2015. Pionk doesn't yet have an elite offensive game, but he should see enough ice time and opportunities to pay off his near minimum price tag on DraftKings.
