Nick O'Leary Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Leonard Fournette (Neck), Gardner Minshew (Shoulder), Nick O'Leary (Shoulder) Questionable for Sunday

The Jaguars have several of their top players on offense listed as questionable for Sunday. Their entire situation will need to be monitored going forward.

Seth DeValve (Oblique) Doubtful for Sunday

DeValve will miss his fourth straight game on Sunday. O'Leary and Koyack will be the TE's for the Jaguars, and it is hard to imagine either producing significantly.

Seth DeValve (Oblique) Ruled Out Sunday

DeValve has been ruled out Sunday, his second straight game missed. Nick O'Leary was signed this week and should make his debut for the Jaguars. O'Leary was released by the Dolphins earlier this year after totaling 4 catches and 37 yards in 7 games.

Josh Oliver (Back) Placed on Injured Reserve

Oliver was placed on IR Monday. Oliver ends the season with 3 catches for 15 yards, only appearing in four games, a disappointing rookie year for the 3rd-round draft pick.

Josh Oliver Suffered Small Fractures in His Back, Expected to Miss a Few Weeks

Josh Oliver is expected to miss a few weeks after suffering small fractures in his back. The Jaguars signed TE Nick O'Leary Monday to help fill his role. Oliver had received just 2 targets each of the past three games, so the role for O'Leary is not significant.

Jaguars Sign Nick O'Leary

The Jaguars have signed TE Nick O'Leary, a move related to the fact that Josh Oliver suffered small fractures in his back. O'Leary should be able to practice this week and play for the Jaguars Sunday.

Dolphins Release Nick O'Leary

O'Leary has been released by the Dolphins. He had 4 catches in 7 games for 37 yards, so his departure won't change the Dolphins offense significantly.

AJ Derby placed on IR

AJ Derby has been placed on IR by the Dolphins this afternoon, leaving their TE depth even thinner. It's not that they have a lack of options at the position, but the TE spot has been an afterthought in the Miami offense and none of the healthy options are even sniffing the DFS radar this week. Gesicki is likely the best dart throw of the bunch, but there are ample places to look with higher floor/ceiling combinations. The Dolphins are now down to Gesecki, Nick O'Leary and Durham Symthe at the position.

Nick O'Leary inactive Week 13

Logan Thomas will operate as Buffalo's second tight end. O'Leary had been playing nearly half the snaps since Charles Clay returned, so Clay could pick up a bigger workload than he has in recent weeks. Over the past four weeks, the Patriots have held TEs to the third-fewest PPR points.

Kelvin Benjamin won't be active Week 9

Benjamin just joined the team this week so he's not ready to make his debut. Tyrod Taylor will have Jordan Matthews, Zay Jones, Andre Holmes, and Deonte Thompson as his options at receiver tonight, although he may continue to pepper running back LeSean McCoy with the most targets. Since 2016, the running back has struggled to run the ball on the road though, averaging 63.2 rushing yards per game compared to 99.4 at home. The Jets are currently tenth in adjusted line yards (3.89, per FO) but they're allowing the 12th-most PPR points to RBs. With Charles Clay and Benjamin out, tight end Nick O'Leary could become more active in the passing attack. After seeing six targets when he came in for the injured Clay against the Bengals, he's been quiet with 2.5 targets per game. The Jets are allowing the eighth-most PPR points to tight ends though and rank 27th in TE DVOA.
