Norris Cole is available for Thunder tonight and expected to play

The recently signed Cole went through the team shootaround today and Oklahoma City Head Coach Billy Donovan stated he would like to get him some minutes today. It's hard to imagine him seeing more than 10-15 minutes of playing time but he could potentially be in line for a bigger role with Victor Oladipo out. He could hit into the playing time of Alex Abrines and remove Semaj Christon completely from the rotation.

Norris Cole travels with the Thunder to Portland; status for tomorrow's game uncertain

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Norris Cole to be used as the backup guard with Cameron Payne now with Chicago. Cole is traveling with the team for tomorrow's game against the Blazers but has not had his status updated for the game. The Thunder are unsure if he'll be prepared to play after not being on a team for most of the season. Look for another update tomorrow regarding this situation.

Norris Cole signs with the Oklahoma City Thunder for rest of the season

The Thunder have agreed to a contract with free agent guard Norris Cole. With Cameron Payne traded to Dallas, OKC had an open roster spot and was in need of an experienced guard off the bench. Cole is unlikely to significant impact in the near future but if Victor Oladipo's back issues become a major issue, Cole could find himself with a larger role than normal. It is unlikely Cole will play tonight but the team has yet to send out another update regarding the status of Cole.

Alexis Ajinca (shoulder) out on Wednesday

The Pelicans have listed ten players out of the Wednesday's finale. Ryan Anderson and Norris Cole are also ruled out but both of them have not played in quite some time. Luke Babbitt started in Ajinca's place on Monday but ended up being a bust in 34 minutes of action. The Pelicans have nothing left to play for and should be avoided tomorrow with 14 games on the slate.

Tim Frazier (ankle) probable for Friday; Norris Cole (back) questionable

Tim Frazier hurt his ankle against the Celtics but is listed as probable for Friday. Frazier did not start against the on Wednesday but was still able to put up 7x on FanDuel. Expect his price to spike after three consecutive strong performances. Norris Cole is questionable but has not played since early March.

Norris Cole (back) unlikely to play

Norris Cole's sore back has not healed enough and he is not expected to play. Toney Douglas will continue to start in his place and makes for a nice tournament option. Douglas has scored 25+ fpts in nine out of his last ten starts. Tim Frazier will be used as the backup and he is averaging 25.97 fpts in his last eight games.

Norris Cole remains questionable for Pelicans

Cole hasn't played in over three weeks and remains questionable for the Pelicans heading into their game against the Nuggets tonight. He'd be a fine target at under $6k on both sites if he does play, especially given how depleted the Pelicans are which should mean an uptick in usage. If he is unable to go, Toney Douglas and Tim Frazier will continue to split time and both are viable options - Frazier has actually been the better option of the two of late given his cheaper price tag and production (he's topped 20 FanDuel fpts in five of eight games). We'll update you on Cole's status later today when more news comes in.

Norris Cole (back) remains out on Wednesday

Norris Cole continues to be out of the lineup with a bad back. Toney Douglas will likely start again with Jrue Holiday done for the year. Douglas is a viable option but faces the Spurs on Wednesday. San Antonio stands as 19 point favorites currently, making Douglas a mid-range tournament option. Douglas' asking price is back under $5k on DK, leaving him some possible upside. James Ennis was signed today to a 10-day contract but is not availble for DFS purposes.

Ryan Anderson to be reevaluated later this week; Norris Cole considered day-to-day

Anderson will be reevaluated in Philadelphia later this week and it's very possible that he ends up missing the rest of the season. Norris Cole is in a similar boat, as he's been listed as questionable for the last 11 games but hasn't played in any of them. He's also a candidate to miss the rest of the season. Dante Cunningham will continue to see heavy minutes at PF while Toney Douglas and Tim Frazier will take on any minutes left by Cole.

Norris Cole (back) remains out on Monday

Norris Cole will miss his eleventh consecutive game due to a bad back. Jrue Holiday returns to the lineup and will likely start with the Pelicans dealing with so many injuries. Toney Douglas should also continue to see heavy minutes with Cole out of the lineup. Douglas finally came down to earth in his last game, making for a tough option to recommend with his asking price elevated.
