O.J. Mayo out for the season with a fractured leg

O.J. Mayo will miss the rest of the season with a fracture in his leg and may opt for surgery. Mayo had been starting for Milwaukee up until last night, but wasn't seeing much court time and was basically supplanted by Giannis Antetokounmpo as the primary ballhandler with the first unit. Jerryd Bayless should continue to start at PG for the foreseeable future and he'll be a viable punt play until his price spikes up. Bayless' usage won't be as high with the starters, but he'll see an increase in court time.

Jerryd Bayless and Greg Monroe confirmed as the starters; O.J. Mayo (illness) ruled out

The Bucks have confirmed that Jerryd Bayless will be replacing O.J. Mayo in the starting lineup. Bayless' backup is Tyler Ennis so there is a chance that Bayless plays over 30 minutes tonight. Bayless will likely have his ownership spike due to the news coming out before lineups lock but faces 2nd stingiest defense against point guards.Greg Monroe will replace Miles Plumlee but also has a tough matchup with the Heat ranked 6th in DvP against centers. Monroe's salary has fallen to the point where he now has tournament upside.

Greg Monroe and Jerryd Bayless expected to start tonight

Greg Monroe is expected to start over Miles Plumlee and Jerryd Bayless is expected to start over O.J. Mayo tonight. Look for an update soon confirming the lineup change.

Michael Carter-Williams (knee) is out tonight

Michael Carter-Williams will be out again tonight and O.J. Mayo will continue to start at PG. Mayo was an absolute bust in his last outing and Jerryd Bayless put up over 30 fantasy points. Bayless makes for a nice tournament option but he has played poorly against the Pacers in five consecutive games dating back to last season.

Michael Carter-Williams is out tonight with patella tendinitis

Michael Carter-Williams is a late scratch which means starting point guard O.J. Mayo should be considered an strong punt option. Jerryd Bayless is now also a viable option but is more expensive than Mayo on DraftKings. Both Mayo and Bayless could be under-owned options with the news coming after lineups locked.

Jerryd Bayless probable for Monday

Jerryd Bayless is probable to play tonight against the Rockets. He's missed the past five contests due to a knee issue, but looks very likely to return tonight which eats into the value of Michael Carter-Williams. O.J. Mayo has been starting at the PG spot of late, but it's MCW that gets most of the run at that spot, so we can assume some kind of three-way time share for now. Bayless isn't likely to take on much of a role in his first game back, so expect somewhere between 14-20 minutes.

Greg Monroe and Michael Carter-Williams to come off the bench on Friday

The Bucks were able to pull out victories prior to the All-Star break with Monroe and Carter-Williams coming off the bench. To keep the momentum going, the Bucks will continue to start O.J. Mayo and Miles Plumlee. Mayo and Plumlee are low-end DFS options while Monroe and Carter-Williams are viable options against the Hornets on Friday. Monroe is in the better spot as he'll have the advantage offensively over the Hornets bigs.

Jerryd Bayless (knee) questionable for Friday

Jerryd Bayless hyper-extended his knee in practice and is questionable to play Friday against the Hornets. With Michael Carter-Williams still expected to come off the bench, Bayless' absence will boost his value. MCW is a solid option due the fact that O.J. Mayo has not played well even in the starting position. Also, look for Khris Middleton to get over 32 minutes again on Friday with the Bucks dealing with multiple injuries.

O.J. Mayo and Miles Plumlee starting for Michael Carter-Williams and Greg Monroe

O.J. Mayo and Miles Plumlee will be in the starting lineup tonight for the Bucks. Coach Jason Kidd said "it's nothing that Michael or Moose have done. We're just going to try something different." Additionally he said, "Michael and Moose are going to play as many minutes if not more than if they were starting." With the information provided, we can only see a slight bump in value for Plumlee and Mayo. All four players are squarely tournament options only with the uncertainty the new starting lineup has created.

O.J. Mayo and Jerry Bayless will play, John Henson is out on Tuesday

O.J. Mayo will be returning from an eleven-game absence tonight to face the Celtics. Mayo will be a risky play and should be avoided until we see what kind of minutes he will receive. Mayo's return will likely mean less minutes for Khris Middleton, who had been averaging 38 minutes over his last four games. Middleton should only be used in tournaments and is not a top option with so many good shooting guards available tonight. Jerryd Bayless will be playing tonight and has not missed a game since missing six in early January. With Bayless playing about 25 minutes in his last five contests, Michael Carter-Williams will be a tough option to recommend until his salary falls further. John Henson will miss another game with his back injury which opens the door for Miles Plumlee to be a good punt option. Plumlee is averaging 16.9 FPs on DK over his last five games which would provide value on his $3,100 salary. Plumlee has a ceiling of about 21 FPs with a floor of about 6 FPs.
