Brad Marchand is the definition of a player you love to have on your team but you hate to play against. It doesn't help that he has elite offensive talent playing on one of the most potent offensive lines in hockey. The trio (Marchand/Bergeron/Pastrnak) also play on the top power-play unit together giving them elite upside.

Despite missing 16 games, David Pastrnak still leads the Boston Bruins with 36 goals. He plays on arguably the best line in hockey with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Bruins visit the Columbus Blue Jackets — a team that is trying to clinch a playoff berth. The upside of this line is evident as they all play on the top power play unit which gives them full-game correlation. The Bruins power play has converted on 26.4 percent of their opportunities this season which ranks 3rd, but they are facing a Blue Jackets penalty kill that has a 84.9 percent success rate which ranks 2nd. This is a battle of two elite special teams but I think the Bruins PP wins this battle.

This is arguably the best line in hockey both from a fantasy standpoint and a real-life standpoint. All three are elite offensive players and they are among the best defensive lines in the NHL as well. Patrice Bergeron almost had his career derailed from concussions in the early goings, but he has since come back and has 4 30-goal seasons over his last 6 including the last two in which he did so in less than 70 games. It feels like he has been in the league forever as he entered the NHL as a 19 year old rookie, but at just 33 Bergeron has definitely seen an offensive resurgence to his career. Playing with Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak certainly helps the matter and given that the trio are on the top power play unit together, they have full-game correlation and elite upside against a New York Rangers team that sits 26th in the NHL in points and has given up the 9th most goals against.

Despite missing 16 games this season, David Pastrnak is tied for the team lead in goals with 31. The Boston Bruins are one of the best possession teams in the NHL and their top line is arguably the best line in the NHL. Pastrnak plays with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand and the three also play on the top power play unit together. This gives them elite upside as they have full-game correlation. The Bruins possession numbers are dominant with a 56.39 CF% over the last month — second best in the league.

Patrice Bergeron has suited up for 55 games this season and has done a fabulous job in those games that he has played in. 65 points is what he has been credited with which ranks him 13th in the league where points-per-game are concerned. A funny thing happens though when you toggle the venue from all to just home games as the 46 points he has registered in the 30 home games he has played in has him behind only Connor McDavid and Nikita Kucherov with a whopping 1.53 points-per-game on home ice. Evidently the Bruins know how to line-match pretty well as their 27-7-3 record in front of the home crowd is second only to the league leading Tampa Bay Lightning. Brad Marchand has been his line mate for most of the 55 games that Bergeron has played in while David Backes, provided he stays on that top line this evening, will surely help you out salary-wise.

The Boston Bruins are road underdogs as they head to Winnipeg to take on the Jets. But, the Jets have actually had some poor possession numbers as of late. Their 47.27 CF% over the last month ranks 24th in the NHL while they've allowed a ton of shot attempts, giving up 60.93 CA/60 which is the 7th-most over the same time frame. Patrice Bergeron continues to centre the top line of Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak's replacement — Danton Heinen. As mentioned above, the Bruins are actually underdogs in this matchup, but given their recent play compared to that of the Jets, this is a surprisingly good matchup. Bergeron has put up 26 goals and 65 points in 54 games which gives him a 1.20 points per game average — just behind Marchand's 1.23 PPG average.

David Pastrnak remains on the shelf as the Boston Bruins visit Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets. Columbus is coming off a 2-0 loss at the hands of the New York Islanders last night which is unfortunate as they need every point they can get. Now, on the second-half of a back to back they are taking on the Boston Bruins. The Bruins will have Patrice Bergeron centering Brad Marchand and Danton Heinen, as has been the case over the last few games. A large benefit to rostering this entire line stack is that they are all on the top power play unit together. This gives the line full-game correlation and elite upside as a result.

Patrice Bergereon, Brad Marchand, and Danton Heinen will likely be the chalk stack of the day, but for good reason. Ottawa has given up a ton of scoring chances in the past month (13.78/60). Heinen also saw top power-play minute's last game with DeBrusk missing last game. This may be the case again tonight with DeBrusk’s availability up in the air. Torey Krug makes a great addition as a four-man stack, as he quarterbacks the team’s top power-play unit.

While common linemate David Pastrnak is on the shelf, he and Patrice Bergeron have continued to truck along with Danton Heinen on the right side. Marchand has 8 goals and 20 points in 15 games since February 1st, with 3 points coming with the man advantage and 3 coming on the penalty kill. He is an even strength, power play and shorthanded master which gives him elite upside. The Boston Bruins are hosting the Florida Panthers who are expected to be rolling with Roberto Luongo in net tonight which bodes well for Marchand and the Bruins. Luongo has struggled this season with a 3.13 goals against average and a .898 save percentage. He is clearly starting to show his age as he takes a major step back in his success.

Boston’s top line has come alive again the past two games, posting a combined three goals, six assists and 16 shots on goal. Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and Danton Heinen will host New Jersey tonight, who is playing on the tail end of a back to back. The Devils gave up six goals last night to Philadelphia, and I expect that to carry over into tonight. The Devil’s have been plagued by injuries all season, and last night they added Kurtis Gabriel and Nathan Bastian to the list as they left the game early. Boston’s top line should have no problem controlling the game against New Jersey’s AHL like roster. Torey Krug is the power play defenseman you want to target with this stack.
