HOU TE Pharaoh Brown returned to practice Wednesday

Pharaoh Brown returned to practice Wednesday ahead of the Texans game against the Tennessee Titans. Brown should return to his role splitting the tight end snaps with Jordan Akins though neither will likely be DFS relevant. It remains best to avoid all Texans (outside of Brandin Cooks) especially in a tough matchup against the surging Tennessee Titans.

Pharaoh Brown has been listed out for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. With Pharaoh Brown forced to miss this weekend, Jordan Akins will take over the primary tight end role with Brevin Jordan available to back him up and play in two tight end sets. Akins would be a viable value option based on expected volume but even with the return of Tyrod Taylor adding extra consistency at the quarterback position it is difficult to confidently roster many members of the abysmal Houston offense.

Pharaoh Brown is not practicing again Thursday due to a hamstring injury ahead of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. If Pharaoh Brown is forced to miss this weekend, Jordan Akins would take over the primary tight end role with Brevin Jordan available to back him up and play in two tight end sets. Brown was ruled out Sunday and won't play against the Rams. Brevin Jordan is active for the first time all year, and will mix with Jordan Akins for the Texans. Neither player is to be trusted in DFS as the Texans woeful offense will likely hold no passing value outside of Brandin Cooks.
